A Treasury of Curious George: 6 Stories in 1!

My daughter loves Curious George. This book is fantastic and adds to our collection. I love the original old illustrations and old stories. I am not a fan of the newer Curious George books.

I bought this book for my niece when she was five or six years old. One thing I noticed when I actually sat down and read it to her is that the stories are a bit tamer than the originals. You wont see Curious George crying on a city sidewalk with a crumpled up leg, and you certainly wont see him getting high on ether at the hospital. But thats okay. My niece loved the book, and thats what matters most.

Some stories are rather from an old time but my son loves them all!

My daughter loves Curious George and we had this book before, but it got ruined by our dog. The pictures, stories and feel of this book are great, and have a lot to offer younger children from before they can read, to when they can read and follow the various stories. If your kids likes books, or curious george, or both, I highly recommend this book.

curious George is generally a bad monkey with little self control. i wish i never showed this to my kid and when i read it i always find myself saying curious George was a BAD monkey

Classics!

A Treasury of Curious George is a very nice collection of vintage childrens stories. Many other reviewers have pointed out that some of the content is questionable when viewed from a modern perspective. I totally agree with them...to a point. Parents should definitely read the books first and decide whether or not they want to share these tales with their kids. But really, thats the case with any childrens book. BUT is that really a good reason to rate this reasonably-priced collection of classic childrens stories with one, two, or even three stars? I dont think so. Unless you truly believe these stories to be of mediocre-to-terrible quality. While I disagree with your opinion, I also support your right to be wrong. Kidding...IM KIDDING! Kinda... Bottom Line: I would read these stories to my nieces or nephew in a heartbeat. But I would definitely get the OK from their mother, first.

These old style Curious George books are great for any CG fan. You can read one story or all of them and they can all be located in one book.

I am very satisfied with the shape of the used book. Its fabulous value for the price. Im sure my son will love it and can foresee days ahead reading the book with him.

I didnt buy this book on Amazon, actually I got it from a bookstore some time ago thinking it was such a great deal and probably paid a bit more for it but I have no problem with that because this collection is worth every penny for a little curious George fan! My daughter this 5 and has loved the show and book for as long as I can remember. About 50% of the time this is the book she chooses to read at bedtime. Her favorite is where George goes camping, she also loves the birthday surprise and all the other ones too she says.
