> 3 dayThis was not properly formatted for a childrens book on Kindle. It was basically a snapshot of the book page, with the text in an additional textbox.Text sometimes ran over onto the next page so that the text and pictures didnt always match up. Two-page spread pictures were shown as a miniature spread, then broken into page by page, which made it choppy. Between the small pictures and the continuity issues, it is not a particularly enjoyable read. However, my daughter loves Curious George and isnt picky about how the books display. Overall, it was a bargain, because there are eight stories for the price of one. I can put up with formatting issues for that value.

> 3 dayMy two year old loves this book- she asks me or her dad to read her a story from it almost every night. The stories are short enough to keep her attention.

Greater than one weekOur daughter LOVES Curious George- we already had the Complete Adventures of Curious George when we decided to buy the Treasury. We were aware that the Treasury was not by the original authors, but rather inspired by their work, and were a bit hesitant to purchase it, particularly based on a few less than flattering comments on the [..] website- some found it formulaic, drawings uninspired, etc. We were pleased with our purchase. Our daughter loves this book, currently more than Adventures, likely because she hasnt completely memorized it! The illustrations are good (if perhaps subtly different than H.A. Reys), the plot lines entertaining (maybe stories about a mischievous monkey cant help but be to be a bit formulaic). These books were written in the 1990s and 2000s, so its not surprising that no one smokes in them and minorities are more visible (without, in our opinion, the books striving to be overwhelmingly politically correct). But reading Curious George Visits the Big City, obviously set in New York, saddened us. Theres a scene where George is looking out over the city, and what look to be the World Trade Center is visible in the distance. This particular book was written in the 90s, based on a view that todays children will never see. If your children liked the original George book, they will enjoy this one too. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayYou can never go wrong with the classics. My nieces sons 6 birthday. Little boys love George, they understand how easy it is for little monkeys to get into trouble.
