AC Infinity AIRCOM T8, Quiet Cooling Blower Fan System 17 Rear-Exhaust for Receivers, Amps, DVR, AV Cabinet Components

The AC Infinity Aircom T8 is a good product that is more useful now than ever because AVRs have expanded thanks to Atmos and DTS-X. High end AVRs get hot and this product helps insure that the AVR remains healthy and lasts a long time. While I am glad that I bought it and would recommend it to others, there is plenty of ways to improve it as well.

I have an HK990 integrated amp that lives inside a Salamander cabinet. Its a sweet and powerful Class AB amp, beefy and HOT. The shelf on which the amp sits has an open ventilation grate beneath it, and the back of the amp is open, so I wanted to be able to pull cool air through the vent, through the amp, and out the back of the cabinet to keep things from getting too swampy in there.

Works great at keeping my Denon receiver cooler then what it would run at before.

Meh. I bought this to keep my new Marantz receiver cool. While it does keep the temperature down, I thought it was going to be really quiet, but I can hear it as the fan cycles on and off even though I have it set to only go to the second slowest step on the fan speed. If you set it to the highest speed, it sounds like a jet engine. Thinking it was defective, I was sent a second one that sounds pretty much the same. I guess thats just how these units are. Im not very impressed. The other annoying thing is that in Smart mode with the temp set to 90 degrees, it cycles the fan on and off in just a few seconds and the temp goes from 88 to 87, back and forth. If the movie or music you are listening to has a quiet section, youll hear the fans going on and off repeatedly.

It does as advertised so far. I have had two receivers burn out on me already so I am not about to let that happen again. I think this will be the answer.

Very easy to use. Set-up in a couple of minutes and you’re done. Keeps my entertainment component cool. Well built and a very attractive unit.

Does the job on keeping my electrical equipment cool. Instructions on set up could use improvement.

Using it on top of a Marantz SR7005 running Martin Logan Motion 40 towers, Motion 50XT center and Infinity Primus P162 surrounds. Have it set for 95F in smart mode and keeps Marantz running at 92F jamming out for hours!! Having cool running amplifiers is worth the $100 investment for this.

I purchased this unit to cool down my Marantz av receiver. The build quality is top notch, it compliments my receiver and works beautifully. This is a must have for every audio set up.
