The mouse pad is absolutely awful. Wish I had a do over on this, I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I just received this laptop this afternoon, supposedly brand new. I switched it on and the backlit keyboard was the only thing that came on, apart from a tiny blue and tiny orange light at the left top above the keyboard. I waited and waited and nothing else happened, so I tried pressing the on key for at least 15 seconds to switch it off as it said online to do and then turned it back on. I tried this multiple times, and each time all I got was a black screen. I have waited such a long time to get a new computer and looked and looked before I finally chose this one. I didnt want to spend a fortune on one, but even this one worked out to over $400 once the tax and other fees in my location were added on. For that amount of money and so many positive reviews I expected to get a laptop that worked, not useless right out of the box. Im returning it for a refund because I dont trust this brand. I gave them a chance because HP let me down so badly, to put it mildly. I feel like Im not destined to have a new computer that works. This is my fourth try. I keep having to use my old vista, which is at least partially functional.

I bought this for my father in law to replace the slow HP that he had. I bought one for myself a year ago. It’s like night & day compared to the HP. You can’t go wrong with this one & the price was great for all that you get.

I bought this computer for home use and travel. It is very well built and the style is great. A lot of chrome with black trim. The keyboard lights up nicely. Great laptop for the money. Five stars.

I received it on time as usual for Amazon . I opened it up and put in 4 more Gb of DDR4 and a 500 SSD card I took out of my previous laptop . all went well . Over the holidays my 2 sons were both home and thought it was very good for the money . they are master programers so they know more about computers than I .

Its hanging Everytime I open ,very slow and disappointed

Do not buy this piece of crap. I just sent back the SECOND one.

Computer works great for what I need, but one of the hinges between the screen and laptop itself came apart after having it for 13 months. I am the only one who uses it in my home, so it wasnt mishandled. I had to tape it, or else spend the same amount to fix it as to purchase a new one. Im gonna use the tape as long as it last, which wont be but for maybe another few months. Wont but this model again as I discovered this is a reoccurring problem with Acer laptops.
