edit: The ghosting effect I had was actually because I had the overdrive setting set to extreme when I was testing it, after switching it back to normal, it no longer happens. So overall its pretty good for gaming and as an external monitor for mac book pro.

This monitor is amazing! I originally got this so I could have an extra screen for school, you know, zoom on one screen, work on the other, but I also use it for gaming. I use this for my laptop and it works great. I have lately been playing the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 on it, and it really allows you to admire the beauty of the game. The monitor itself is sleek and the stand is awesome, allowing you to raise and lower, tilt forward and backward, and turn.

He loves the size and picture quality for gaming. He games on a regular basis so this is a good monitor for him. My son games about 15 hours per day so monitors cannot be too bright or loopy or it will give him eye strain and z headache. This monitor does not give him any problems or issues. The size is perfect for what we use it for. Overall it appears to be good quality. Light enough weight, and perfect for the gaming teenager or adult.

I got this for a work from home setup. Picture quality is good. The stand is really sturdy, and I like the ability to adjust height and rotate (between landscape and portrait).

I picked up three of these while they were on sale to replace some TN panels that did not look good in portrait mode. I was pretty skeptical at the sub hundred dollar mark that a IPS display would be any good.. but worth the try. Wow. I am so surprised at how good theses look --- so good I am going to pick up 3 more when they go back on sale. First this is a true IPS display and it looks great from almost any angle (including portrait mode which is what I wanted. The stands are also top notch, height, tilt and of course pivot. Why do other manufacturers give the cheapest stands in the world. No idea. The picture for me out of the box was great for the type of work I do (mostly writing code, spreadsheets, office stuff) though I am curious how they would perform on a gaming rig. The color is great, brightness is perfect.

Misadvertised as having speakers, but it does not. Will be returning as I needed a monitor with video+audio output for streaming needs. Beautiful display though, and a good monitor for the value. Package only comes with a VGA cable and does not come with a HDMI or DP cable so make sure to buy that separately if your GPU only takes that

We bought it but never hooked it up. It was a beautiful unit, but the family wanted a lap top, so we returned it and bought a laptop from Amazon.

Pros:

Bought as 2nd display for a 2017 iMac for home office and coding. Text was blurry and hard to read, and thus unusable for working. Tried both HDMI and VGA inputs since I read online that the iMac might treat HDMI as a TV not a monitor (this Acer does not have a TV/Monitor mode setting). Tried to manually force RGB profile for HDMI via Display overrides, but still didn’t fix it. Returning this.
