The mouse pad is intermittent and frustrating; sometimes quick, sometimes slow, sometime doesnt work at all.

I wouldn’t buy this again. I loved how light it was, the sound was amazing, and the screen had a great resolution. There was a problem with the screen when opening after not using for a couple of hours. The first time I thought it was me, so I gave it a second chance and sure enough it happened again. I had bought another one from Best Buy during Black Friday and the scroll bar had dashed. I wouldn’t consider an Acer computer anymore. To make things unfair, amazon did not give me a full refund even if I returned the computer before the return date. I probably had it 2 weeks before having problems.

Works great

I use this in place of a laptop, as well as for reading digital books. It performs well enough, occasionally bogging down when I have a lot of tabs open. But I suspect most people would be ok. Im not super excited about the small screen while typing using the laptop, but it is light on the hands and lap and does not overheat on your lap. Keep in mind the cost and what specs and you should be happy if this is the type of laptop/tablet you want.

It sucks as a tablet and nothing like a laptop. Returning and getting an Android tablet.

Ive had my R11 Chromebook convertible for about two weeks. I use it as a light, additional device to take to and from work, and it also replaces my 7 tablet. Im a bit of a different user based on reading other reviews. I use my device about 70% in presentation/stand/tablet mode and about 30% as a regular laptop. I switch between the two modes A LOT, and the hinges feel solid as I open/close and switch it into tablet mode. The keyboard is great and doesnt feel cramped at all. The only small negative is the touch pad doesnt seem as responsive as other notebooks I use, but this isnt enough of a problem to give it 4 stars. Im incredibly impressed I was able to get such a multi-functional device that performs well at such a great price.

Did not purchase on Amazon but have had it for about 6 months and love, love, love it. Previously purchased a Dell product and hated it. Then purchased a Lenovo and loved it but dropped it. But this Acer product has made me very happy.

Granddaughter loves it, uses it all of the time, good little computer - fast service. No problems so far.
