Overall this was a decent laptop when it worked, but heaven help you if you have bitlocker enabled and go into a BIOS update. Youll end up in an endless loop of reboots & recovery key entries before one final reboot sends you into Windows. Doesnt even recognize you HAVE a drive in the recovery state, while the BIOS shows yes, you have drives

At first, I was amazed by the price–performance ratio of this laptop. However, the laptop just kept crashing and wouldnt turn on after I installed a system update. I took it to a local repair shop, and the guy told me that the motherboard was defective. Glad Ive found out this earlier, Im going to return it and get something else. Acer please get better with your quality control.

I switched down from a 17.5 display to this 15 display, since I have it setup with an external 24 monitor and external KB and mouse. Much more comfortable for me, and having sold Acer products at Best Buy for several years, I knew it would be a high quality PC!

This laptop packs a punch and can run almost anything with high FPS on high to ultra settings. Its a good PC and just at the sweet spot of being bigger than 15 and not as massive as a 17. High quality.

I needed a laptop that could run the Valve Index, for a super cool art project that I got a grant for. After many, many hours of researching laptops and one whole purchase-and-return of an Alienware machine, I got this one. It runs its video right off the graphics card through the mini DispalayPort and it handles the hard specs of the Index amazingly well. And it does it for cheap. GET IT GET IT GET IT!

I want to attest that this laptop works fine. I boosted the memory to 32GB ram and I added extra storage. I have no complaints as I believe it is the best one that I have owned.

Make sure you get the one with the 3060 or higher graphics card. I have the 3060 card in mine and it runs just about every game I want it to on the highest settings with minimal to no lag or skipping.

This replaces a 4 year old predator that my son spilled a glass of water on. Nice replacement. He said it was faster for gaming.
