> 3 dayReceived aprox 3 weeks ago and immediately added an additional 16 gig ram for a total of 32 gig. Put a 2nd m.2 drive of 1 t and a ssd of 1 t, totaling 2 1/2 t between all three. This is a beast and takes on every Steam game with ease. Only complaint is that the keyboard wont stay on and the speakers need some umph!

13-06-2025What the title says. Its great for gaming if you want this laptop to never last then go ahead let it push and die in a year. I played games like hell let loose, halo infinite, elden ring, assassins creed valhalla and also do a lot of rendering work and while its normal for these games to get these laptops hot, this thing went up to 90c to 100c hot. This is with a cooling pad, and the fan running at turbo and some how managed to hit tjmax. The build is decent and has seen some abuse such as accidentally dropping it a few times and never noticing any substantial drop in performance. On the other hand, too bad itll drop in performance anyways when the interior gets so hot that it needs turbo on all the time as the cpu gets so hot that it lowers the clock speed to save itself. Also, The predator button is the stupidest design choice ive ever seen and the program itself manages to take 20% of cpu load and make the laptop hotter by having the program running by itself. I dont care if I can change the predator buttons settings, as having it where the num lock is annoying and shows how much acer cared about keyboard design when they first made this.

> 3 dayThis is a great little laptop with lots of power for the price. Gen 11 i7, an RTX 3060, Thunderport 4, and a very bright 144 Hz display. But there are plenty of reviews that will list out all the wonderful specs. Here are my only complaints. I do have some light bleed around the top and bottom edges of the screen which is disappointing. It is hard to find the battery specs on this laptop but I think it is something like 59 MAH. You you pack this much horse power in a chasey I wish it contained a max 99 MAH battery. There is an extra 2.5 drive bay next to the battery, it would be awesome to offer a bigger battery option at the sacrifice of the drive bay. Lastly, a MUX switch would have been great. I understand this would add to the cost but I would pay extra for those options and a MUX switch it relatively cheap to build into a laptop. Other than that, I researched close to 30 laptops before settling on this one and it did not disappoint.

Greater than one weekI purchased this laptop for gaming. I turned on the pc, set up everything. Took me 4 hours to download the games i liked, to get everything ready as my pc towers. Turned the laptop off to go have dinner, came back and the laptop is not turning on! After looking on youtube for references , looks like this pc has alot of problems turning on! This is ridiculous. Not more than 6 hours after the first use. And this already broke! I better get a compensation for the 5 hour time wasted, i better get all my money back aswell!

Greater than one weekI bought it for $1200 and it out performs anything under $2000 (assuming it’s plugged in, duh). RTX 3060, 2 NVMe slots (I added a Samsung 2TB 970 evo plus where I keep my games), extra 2” B SSD slot, great cooling, overclocking function, thunderbolt 4 port of I ever want to upgrade my graphics card and use an eGPU, USB 3.2 ports, HDMI, mini display port, and a processor that will be the last thing to slow down your gaming. Honestly, I pity anyone who buys any other gaming laptop, even other predator models. I play Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 on a high/ultra setting combo at about 100fps plus. That’s pretty sweet for a $1200 laptop. Only complaint, battery life is not meant for gaming though, and that’s the only down side. It’s a portable gaming PC with a ton of upgrade potential with the extra NVMe M.2 slot and thunderbolt 4 port, but it really has to be plugged in for any real gaming.

> 3 dayThis laptop is most definitely one of the best there is for its price range. To start the build quality of this laptop is impressive, lots of metal and a really sturdy and rugged design compared to other laptops that seem to try and save money at this price point by using cheap plastic. Games run great on this you can expect at least 60 fps on most AAA titles on high settings, some more graphically intensive games you may need to lower these settings but overall great laptop definitely recommend.
