> 3 dayThis is an excellent gaming laptop. It is thin, light, the screen is gorgeous, and the chassis looks fantastic. However being thin and light the thermals are always going to be terrible. If you use the discrete GPU this laptop will heat up to around 90 degrees for the CPU and GPU quickly doing even basic tasks such as web browsing, reading emails, or youtube. You will not be sitting with this on your lap at these temps it is painfully hot. This Triton ships with discrete GPU always on in the PredatorSense menu. Turn that off and it will only use the discrete GPU when needed (for gaming). This allows this laptop to maintain a much more comfortable 35 - 40 degree temp for everyday tasks and remains very quiet with low fan speeds at these lower temps.

> 3 dayIve had this laptop since august 5th now. the laptop runs very well in terms of gaming performance. plenty of space too, which i love. doesnt stay charged for more than 2 to 2.5 hours at best but I dont mind because I need the break anyway. I knew how long it ran after a single charge and dont mind at all.

> 3 dayChanging my review, great lap top. I did have a couple issues where the keyboard had stopped working, but then started again. A lot of the letters have been rubbed off due to a lot of use, I bought sticky letters to go over the ones that are gone. Otherwise, the lap top itself has been great.

> 3 dayThe product is carefully packed; mine came with at least 2 boxes before it reached the laptop. Acer tends to provide great care of their packaging, so the problem of a broken laptop on arrival is extremely rare. It is a monster when it comes to gaming. With 300hz monitor, I am satisfied as there is no tearing and fps spike. It is just a perfect choice especially for FPS games out there. However, there are two problems to be concerned about, which are the noises that it makes and the heat. Usually, while gaming, you would probably hear a lot of fan sounds, and it might affect your experience with friends, and yep, heat also comes along. Obviously, it is a gaming laptop, so I could not ask more besides a smooth run for all of my games. I am really satisfied with this choice.

> 3 dayI am interested in the Acer Predator Triton 500 PT515-52-73L3 Gaming Laptop for one primary reason - to drive (at a framerate greater than 30FPS) an LG 55 HDR display at 3840 × 2160 with the graphics detail cranked up to at least High End within the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. I also need to plug the flight peripherals plugged directly into the laptop. Can this laptop handle it?

> 3 dayThe laptop works great with games that are graphically demanding! There is no lag when I play any games. However, it does tend to overheat after about 30 mins of use so I highly recommend you to buy a cooling pad to prevent it from overheating. As for the battery life it does last about a whole day and then you would need to charge it but it depends on what programs you are using and on what power mode. I always have mine on best battery life.

> 3 dayI got this gaming laptop for gaming purposes due to graphic cards being hard to get for a pc. Only complaint that I have is that I didn’t get a bigger screen other than that this thing runs great especially for apex

> 3 daySeeing all the other positive reviews, Im not going to bore you with the same praises over performance. Im just going to state the negative While this machine is a BEAST, a gaming powerhouse, it gets hot, and when it gets hot all the fans start working in overtime to try and cool the machine down. While I appreciate all the cooling vents, when they are all working, its loud. If you have a gaming laptop, you know they are loud when they run. But this thing is LOUD. If youre wearing headphones then you can probably drown out most of it, but I can hear this running from the next room. Luckily its not loud the entire time, its only after several hours of gaming. Again, this is not a new thing for a gaming laptop, they all run loud when the fans are cooling, this one just gives you impression its going to take off in a minute and land elsewhere in the house. This is the envy of my household and in my friends circle.
