> 24 hourI got the monitor. Packaged very well. Everything is there but 1 cable. Power cord good, HDMI good, some cable for speaker and or mic is there. But no displayport 1.4 cable. This a gaming monitor. And for anyone that doesnt know, gaming monitors that is used for gaming use the displayport cable. BUT NO CABLE!!! There was 2 HDMI cables... Maybe that is what happened! But HDMI is not for gaming. HDMI is for almost everything else. But I would not get an expensive monitor with only FHD, I would get at least GHD. However, for this amount of money I could have gotten at least 4 or 8k. So, yeah, I am disappointed. Amazon cannot help but they are contacting the manufacturer. (by the way Amazon solution was to send the monitor back! Hey! Just send me the cable!) So, they will contact and... 2nd thing was the day after the order prices all went down. I could buy the monitor anywhere for $50 less. But, doesnt match! ???

> 24 hourIve had the monitor about 3 weeks now, after I got tired of waiting for the PG35VQ. I was aware of the fan discussions and wanted to take my chances. Id say about 20% of the time the monitor is on, it will do the rhythmic fan on/off. If its very quiet in the room, I do notice it, but its not enough of a problem for me to complain about it. Those saying it spins up to 100% and then off arent entirely accurate. Id say it spins up to about 15-20% power. The reason I know this, is because every once in a while when I turn the monitor on, it spins up to 100% (maybe to clear dust or something). And THAT is loud, like jet engine for 5 seconds or so. If your fan is doing that speed regularly, it is broken and return it. But the fan on/off as it is, I dont think its a big deal.

> 24 hourGot an Acer Predator x34 over 6 years ago and love it still. Wanted a better model with faster response time and all the new bells and whistles. Problem is this new monitor at its lowest is 2 inches higher than the old one. Which causes me to have to look up at the monitor which isnt good ergonomically. Huge disappointment especially since theres plenty of room where they could have allowed it to go lower.

> 24 hourWhat kind of mega-genius decides that putting a very loud fan in a monitor is a great idea? Apparently the geniuses at Acer. To make up for being really expensive, the monitor is terrible: the pixels are as large as boulders, and, worst of all, the fan runs nearly constantly. If you have ever said to yourself Id like a really loud annoying noise in my environment all the time, then this might be the perfect monitor for you.

> 24 hourThe box came in looking like it had been stored in someones basement for a month, and the monitor wouldnt even post the on-screen display settings using the built-in controls, much less display from input. Customer service was basically useless; I tried to humor them by going through all the hoops they requested despite how obviously non-functional the thing was, and they proceeded to drop my help chat when it took me more than 60 seconds to find a second computer to hook into the monitor for troubleshooting. Not the kind of support Id expect for a $2,500 display.
