Not much to it. SSD prices are dropping. Bought this to be my main CPU hard drive and will switch my storage to SSD pretty soon. Boots up fast and everything

Like the headline says, it arrived bent! Why? Because: 1. Shoddy construction consisted of a bottom thin metal shell and a plastic top shell, which makes it much less sturdy when compared to other SSDs out on the market. 2. Blister packaging. Again, plastic to protect electronic components isnt exactly the best practice out there. I tested the drive in an external enclosure and it did boot up, but the risk of sudden failure wasnt worth the hassle of keeping it and wondering when it would suddenly die WITH YOUR PRECIOUS DATA. Fortunately, Amazon took it back easily. This is not worth it, especially considering the other problems with DRAMless SSDs and endurance issues with QLC nand.

I bought this to revive an old HP Laptop with a Core 2 Duo and 4GB RAM. Yes, this laptop is about 10 years old. The original hard drive was dead, so I picked this up as a quick replacement. To my surprise, this drive has exceeded expectations over the last few weeks. It also allows us to run Windows 10 home on this laptop with no issues. Honestly, the value proposition for this drive is immense. You arent going to get the fastest read/write speeds, but for the price, it does the job where needed.

It was very easy to use, just had to plug it in to an empty storage slot and it worked as soon as it got power

Works well, noticeably much faster than the HDD I replaced with it.

After watching enough online before & after SSD videos, I decided to give it a try. For $35 it was well worth it!. I install this 240GB SSD in my HP laptop. Even though it was about 1.5 years old, it was never very fast. Now, it works they way it always should have. The speed test show 495-505 Mb/s. Compared to the old hard drive of around 70 Mb/s, its like warp speed. If you have an old or aging computer, this is a quick & inexpensive way to give it new life.

I bought this SSD at a retail store as a replacement for an aging harddrive on a laptop. Ive tried using multiple apps to migrate the OS to the new drive but always seemed to get hit up with an upgrade option, so I downloaded NIUBI Partition Editor Free Edition, and it worked like a charm. It was so simple, plus if you need help there are tutorials, which in my opinion is unneeded even for a noob like me. If you plan to migrate all of your OS and apps to the new drive, you will need a transport cable. I used Sabrent 2.5 Sata Hard Drive/SSD to USB 3.0 Adapter, which you can find here on Amazon for about $9.00. Boot up time average is 8-10 seconds, and apps open up faster than with the older HDD drive. Ive looked at benchmarks for other drives and thought, why not give this SSD a try.

I got 3 of these and put them in RAID0 to give me 1.30TB of useable space. In RAID0 Im getting around 1GB read and write speeds. Its like a ghetto nvme drive! Goodbye mechanical drives, it was a long, slow ride.

If you’re looking to replace that HDD of yours with an SSD, look no further than the ADATA SU630, the Ultimate SU630 implements next-generation 3D QLC NAND Flash for higher affordability and storage capacities, ranging from 240GB to 960GB.
