Its very soft and much thicker than the A+A swaddling blankets weve used since she was an infant. But the material feels the same--gauzy cotton--just this one has multiple layers. At this price point, I would rather it not be Made in China, but it fits our need perfectly. Thanks, too, to Amazon, which helped to fix a shipping problem.

> 24 hourThese are the BEST blankets for swaddling. They are bigger than the regular muslin swaddle blankets and thicker. We love them!!! Highly recommend. We had to buy another just to have a backup!!!

> 24 hourI was a little hesitant to spend so much on a baby blanket, but I took the plunge and am so glad I did! This blanket is just as soft as the regular aden & anais swaddle blankets, just much thicker and warmer. Our daughter never really had a favorite blankie until we bought this for her and now she sleeps with it and wants to carry it around with her all of the time. Our daughter is 23 months old and this blanket is the perfect size for her to cover up with at night. Most other blankets were much too small to actually cover her up. We also bought this blanket, in the blue color, for our newborn son but it is just too big and bulky to wrap him in yet. I do use it to cover him up in his car seat, or lay him on it on the floor when we are at someone elses house. Its nice to know that he wont outgrow the blanket anytime soon and hopefully will use it for many years to come like his sister. The blanket washes well and seems like it will hold up well in the long run.
