Its large enough to grow with my infant for a few years. Its soft and gets softer with each wash. I also really love that they have the same pattern in each product line. I have the jungle jam pattern in this blanket, burpy bibs and swaddling blankets. Great, great product. Not a cheap feeling blanket, either. Its pretty thick and feels very well made
