> 24 hourI am surprised at some of the bad reviews. These locks are great. They are wide enough but can be shortened easily. Very easy to put on and take off. The baby will not be able to figure it out because it requires use of two fingers simultaneously as you slide it down. So nice to keep my kitchen cabinets safe or I should say my child safe!

> 24 hourThis item is listed as 9.7 inches long. The item is actually 7 and 1/8 inches long. That makes a big difference when you are trying to buy something that will fit your cabinets. The design is fine, they seem sturdy enough and are easy to use BUT fix that listing so folks wont buy these, thinking they will work only to find they are too short.

> 24 hourMy mother bought these for her house for when we visit with my 1 year old, and they worked great! She has cabinets which have handles. After seeing how well they worked at her house, I bought some for mine without giving it much thought. When I got then in the mail, I went to install them and realized my cabinet doors have knobs, not handles. At first I thought “great, now I have to return these cuz my dumb a** forgot to look at what type of handles we had”. However I tried to install them just to see, and to my surprise they worked! As long as your knobs have a lip on them, these will still work! Very easy to install/uninstall, just squeeze the two tabs together and slide on or off. Very happy with this purchase!

> 24 hourI use these to secure cabinets where the magnet type doesn’t work. When they’re higher up they work really well (like keeping the doors of a wardrobe closed). When they’re at the baby’s eye level they’re not quite as effective. My 14 month old was able to break one after yanking on it for a few minutes. However the company offers a 12 month warranty and they reached out to replace it! And in their defense I think he’s particularly Strong and stubborn. The magnet style are definitely preferable but these work as a good alternative when they won’t or when you don’t want a permanent baby proofing solution.

> 24 hourOur first son was great, but number two doesnt listen to us no matter what, and just keeps going into all our cabinets and pulling everything out. We got so tired of constantly pulling him away from the cabinets and always having to keep an eye on him. This product did the trick. Its quite easy for an adult to use, and even for our 3 year old, but our 1 year old cant get into the cabinets anymore. The only annoying thing about this is having to bend over to take these off and put them back on again, but thats expected with any kind of safety latch I would think.

> 24 hourBaby proofing is no joke. The number of things I’ve had to baby proof has been insane. I didn’t want to get the traditional cabinet latches because I didn’t want to screw things into our cabinets, so this was a nice and easy alternative. It’s easy to put on and take off and it keeps the baby out.
