10-06-2025Ive always bought surge suppressors and the like from APC. Theyre very reliable and well-made. The equipment protection guarantees are great, too. This strip is not as sturdy as some other APC strips, but it is also less expensive. Perfect for basic home use (a TV, Xbox, etc). Id get a higher up APC model if youre protecting a workstation computer or high end audio gear. But for basic stuff, this strip is a good value. Id trust this far more than a lesser known brand.

> 3 dayOverall, I have a lot of confidence in the APC reputation. Their power related products all have great build quality and thoughtfulness behind it. This particular surge protector (8 outlets) is both thin and long and takes up very minimal space. The 6 foot power cord is also a good feature to have as it allows for various placements for different use cases. My only complaint about this surge protector is that it doesnt have built in slide covers to protect the outlets that arent in use. Ive appreciated this feature on other surge protector vendors like Belkin which help to protect against the household spills of liquid that happen from time to time within a household. I also somewhat wish that the on/off switch were on the side of the surge protector to prevent it from accidentally being switched on/off; I feel its a little more difficult to accidentally switch a surge protector on/off when the switch is on the side of the surge protector. just my opinion.

> 3 dayItem appears to be of high quality. The outlets are well spaced out and accommodate different shapes of plugs. The two LEDs showing that both the unit is powered on and the the surge protection is working are a nice addition.

> 3 dayAfter endless research and not finding any option that had reassuring reviews I finally asked our family IT expert to help me pick a decent option. We are setting up a home office and needed a surge protector for the printer etc as we have seasonal power outages here. This one feels pretty sturdy as surge protectors go. It has a nice look to it. I like the option of having USB ports in it, so a charging cord can be plugged in and ready to go for a device. Weve only had it a month so I cant speak to longevity but so far so good!

> 3 dayI really wanted a flat connection to the wall in a certain area in my house to optimize space. Originally I had one that was not a flat connection, and I had to have furniture stick out from the wall. Now with a flat one I have been able to reduce that space and it looks much cleaner and the space feels larger. The switch to turn it off and on is easy to access and I can plug lots of items into it. I researched a lot of surge protectors looking at both design and safety and so far this has fit my needs.

> 3 dayWorks well, feels high quality for a power strip, the lights can be a little bright at night, but they are upward facing and separate from the switch so covering them with some electrical tape wouldn’t be a hassle.

> 3 dayI had my PS5 get struck by lightning so I’m paranoid about what I’m plugging anything into anymore. I bought one of these from micro center that has like two more slots for $65. Clearly got overcharged. But still, if it’s guaranteed to cover it, then I need it.
