I havent used a MAC in about 20 years. Switching from PC to MAC had me worried about the learning curve and just figuring it out. I got my new MAC yesterday afternoon and I already have 80% of my stuff up and running. Still got some learning to do but I am simply amazed at this machines speed and ability to just know what I am trying to do. LOVE IT!

Now, I can no longer stream Airplay without major freezes and glitches, the operating system slows to a crawl when I connect an external hard drive, and I have to constantly restart my machine because if I dont I cant get a dropdown menu for Finder or Adobe. I have used the help pages in vain and Apple Care? Yeah, Apple Care is nothing of the kind. It was a battle to get the information sent to me in the first place. Now when I attempt to get some help I am disconnected from the Apple call center each and every time I call.

This MacBook Pro 16 is beyond anything I expected. The keyboard is so nice to type on. The display is just freaking amazing with the mini-leds and promotion 120. I have just totally been blown away. The speed of this thing is off the chart. Apple has truly outdone themselves. Oh and the ports, yes ports are pack. 3 Thunderbolt 4 ports, 1 magsafe charging port, high impedance earphone jack and an HTML port for doing presentation.

Really surprised and disappointed with how this machine interacts with and runs the current Adobe Suite. Even basic AfterEffects projects CHUG with nothing else running on the machine. Basic 15-30 second compositions with only a dozen or so key frames are sometimes taking 10+ hours to render. Totally unacceptable for a machine marked toward professionals. Save yourself some money and get a refurbished older model of the iMac Pro or Mac Pro. These things just dont cut it in a professional creative environment.

I was able to clear up the mousepad clicks by turning OFF 3 finger clicks. MAKE SURE YOU DO.

I love Apple products, in fact I have an “Apple House”… I’ve had the first iPhone, I had the first iPad, I had the first MacPro, I had the first Apple display, I had the first iMac, I had the first Apple TV, I had the first Apple Watch, the only thing I’ve never had was the iMac mini.

I had purchased a 14 inch model and it wasnt big enough. This 16 is perfect in every way.

I replaced an older, slower laptop. It improved performances once I got familiar thew protocols.
