I love my new MacBook. I have wanted one for years and my Amazon credit card with 0% interest with 18 payments made it possible.

I really really wanted to love this laptop. Years of using MacBooks, and I’m finally asking myself why!? Don’t get me wrong, the laptop is quick, the software is everything you would expect, but between two sticking keys and it’s constant temperature hovering at an uncomfortable 120F, not while under load, or in an extreme environment. Watching YouTube TV, updating Excel sheets, in my 74F living room, not exactly taxing this quad core i5. This purchase has left me very disappointed, and I can’t justify upgrading from my 2014 MacPro.

Returned this Apple computer as it did not suit my needs. HOWEVER, IM STILL WAITING for he APPLE CARE I PURCHASED FOR THE ITEM TO ALSO BE RETURNED, as it is of absolutely NO USE TO ME NOW!

Theres a lot that I love about this computer - convenient size, great speakers, and its plenty powerful. I was uncertain about the Touch Bar but grew to like it as well. But Ive been consistently disappointed by an intermittent flicker with my display. Ive taken it to an apple store and had the entire screen replaced by the flicker still keeps coming back. An occasional restart fixes it temporarily, but Im still very disappointed that this other wise great laptop has a screen flicker issue.
