AquaTeak Patented 24 Sumba Teak Shower Bench with Shelf

> 24 hourIve had this now for a couple months or so. Its in our walk in shower, out of direct spray from the shower head but gets wet during showers obviously. I applied 3 or 4 coats of Penofin Marine Oil after assembly to help maintain the new finish look and prevent water absorption. Despite a pretty high quality outdoor finish, it still absorbs water and can probably stain unless sprayed or wiped off after each use. Also, you HAVE to clean it at least every few weeks or mold will start to form in the crevices and underneath. Probably not unusual for any natural wood furniture kept in a shower! Would definitely buy again.

> 24 hourThis is an awesome addition to our shower. It is very well made and looks great. The teak has a great smooth and natural feel, water wicks right off. It was easy to assemble and can be completed in just a few minutes.

> 24 hourI bought this easy to assemble. It looks fantastic and is super stable. I bought this because I am aging and I’m in need of a bench in my steam shower. This thing is super sturdy and comfortable. It’s surprisingly easy to move around. I have a tiled shower. This does not damage my tile in anyway. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

> 24 hourThe 24 bench is made well and arrived fully assembled. The packaging left a bit to be desired, as the box was damaged, causing a small dent in the long side of the bench. This does not impact the use of the bench, and I place it to the back of the shower, so dont notice it. It is a perfect height to sit if necessary, or shave my legs. I left the leg adjusters unscrewed somewhat to raise the level of the wood above the water lying on the shower floor. This does not impact the stability of the unit. I did apply a coat of teak oil on the bench and left it sit to absorb for 72 hours before I used the bench in the shower. I have a tendency to wipe down the walls and floor of the shower with a squeegee after use, and do the same to the bench. No sense letting it sit in water if not necessary. All in all, I am happy with my purchase. Also, if I dont need it in the shower, it fits nicely behind my bathroom door next to the vanity, as it is only 10 inches deep.
