Greater than one week2003 Tahoe LT tried many pullers and none of the auto stores carried the necessary rental. Bought this and am super impressed! Nice case, multiple length rods for different engines. The tool is sturdy as can be. For the price it’s very nice. The longest rod worked for my Tahoe. The rod goes thru the harmonic balancer into the crank shaft and is what the tool centers on. I added rubber bands surrounding the arms so that you could easily attach arms to back of harmonic balancer without it slipping off. As GM leaves very small grab points for the arms the arm ends need to have some bite and not be rounded. These were perfect!

> 3 dayDon’t let the price scare you, this is a QUALITY tool ! I purchased this as Im started pulling down my 5.7L Gen3 LS1 in my Holden Calais as parts come in for its rebuild. I have to say this harmonic balancer puller set made getting this balancer off a breeze and are about to buy a few more of there products. Thank you very much for the speedy shipping to New Zealand.

> 3 dayOnly thing I didn’t like about it was the fact that the rod bent when I pulled the crankshaft pulley off, but not too bad. I will still continue to use the rod, it’s nothing major but definitely not preferred.

> 3 dayHad to change the timing cover gasket on my 05 dodge durango 5.7l. It worked perfectly, no issue. This should work on all hemis from 2003 up to 2009, I believe after is when they started changing the damper pulley. It should work on the 3.7 and 4.7 early models that the engine is forward facing.

> 3 dayI dislike the fact that the first time I used it, the extension shaft twisted up like a pretzel, then a pin busted on the jaw arm I would not recommend this product at all buy more expensive one.

11-06-2025Tried three other three prong pullers and this one worked. I like the kit and how well it can be stored. Nothing worse than needing something and parts cant be found due to family members moving things around in the garage. One case which will last a long time so much better than cardboard most others come in.
