> 24 hourCast metal case excellent for heat dissipation. Clear pin labeling for functions a big plus. Included adapter changes mini HDMI connector to a standard HDMI connector. Case power button a big plus. The SD card slot is too deep into the case, making memory card insertion and removal more difficult.

> 24 hourI purchased the Argon One M2 recently for a Raspberry Pi 4 8gb because it offers: a Great 2 Full-size DVI output Daughter Card, Active & Passive Fan Cooling, and the correct GPIO Pin Access in a removable cover. It also came with a High Output A/C Adapter all in a compact case. Upon inserting the Raspberry Pi 4 into the case- it became apparent the Argon One Daughter Card lined up perfectly with the Case Internal Metal Posts that support the card in the case... but the screws that secure the Daughter Card to the inside of the case- DO NOT LINE UP with the Molded Metal Brackets. The Raspberry Pi 4 is secured to the inside of the Argon One Case with Screws... these line up, but the Daughter Cards 4 screws only line up on one end. Countless emails to the company get me no where... the EU Version includes a M2 SSD Expansion... so the next time I purchase the Argon One Case, Ill purchase the EU Version. The USA Argon One M2 case works, but is not worthy of 5 Stars... Buyer Beware!

> 24 hourI bought one of the Kickstarter cases for Pi3, so this is my second. I like the Flirc cases, too. But for desktop use, the cord management, I/O accessibility and labeling (when needed or hidden when not), and integrated fan control and power switch is really appreciated. Theyre even fun to put together if you like that sort of thing. Only drawback is the need for a 5.25v power supply (at least on the early cases). Dont know if thats still true, but this came packaged with a quality power supply so its not an issue. (case and supply in same Argon-branded box, not a seller bundle.) One caveate: if you lose power, you have to push the button to restart your Pi. So maybe not best for an embedded application.

> 24 hourPackaging is top notch - assembly is a breeze! A real game-changer for the Raspberry Pi 4b desktop experience. Directions clear and easy to follow to plug in the piggyback extender board which relocates the GPIO and the ports to one side, along with the power button. Everything fits and all the screws lined up perfectly. The enclosure is the absolute best I have seen yet for the Raspberry Pi 4. I was a little concerned about the materials of construction and my wifi signal - but the aluminum case had no effect on my signal strength. Having the passive cooling (aluminum case sinks directly to the the CPU and GPU) plus the fan as an integral part of the enclosure is brilliant. I used the downloaded utility to set the fan to always on and keep the unit as cool as possible. The CPU temp is 45 C while streaming Netflix full screen, and the fan is virtually silent, even at full speed. And you will love the SD Card slot - it aligns perfectly with no gaps, and the card will not accidently slide into the opening and get lost inside like other cases I have tried. The GPIO are rerouted to the back with a magnetic cover for access - another brilliant engineering feat. But the top of the list is having all the connections arranged on the back of the case so it presents a very neat desktop appearance, along with a smart power pushbutton switch to power up/down/reboot/forced shutdown. Getting ready to order two more for the girls bedroom - they love this case as well especially the power button - and they love the Raspberry Pi 4! They have used them for school from home now for nearly 4 months and they are at least as good as their Chromebook Lapbooks. All pros, no cons - buy one - you will love it!!!

> 24 hourThe picture shows the first version with the micro hdmi connectors. It worked well and I wrote a small script to control the fan speed with the i2c commands that Argon publishes. Ordered 2 more cases, but got the V2 version where those commands no longer work. Customer support didnt respond for weeks and wasnt helpful when they finally did. Returned both and will resume the search for a case that worked as well as their first version did.

> 24 hourFor fit and finish, this is a sleek, nice looking case. Everything fit like it was supposed to. The instructions are wriiten well, and from out-of box to usability took about 5 minutes. The software that you download to use the fan is nice in that you can set the fan speeds to automatic for when the Pi heats up ( 3 different levels) or you can set the fan to full speed while the Pi is on. Overall this is an awesome case, and I would buy again. My only complaint, and this is a very small complaint, is that when I viewed the product, the picture shows mini HDMI ports on the back of the case, and when I opened the box, it was full size HDMI ports. I have to buy new cables to use this case vs using the mini HDMI cable I used on the Pi with the Cana case that came with it. Not a deal breaker by any means, but just be aware that what I got was not what was advertised in the picture.

> 24 hourIm so impressed with the quality and effectiveness. The passive cooling works extremely well, even better if you use some thermal paste instead of the included thermal sticky pads. With the m.2 option installed, this case is unbeatable for a single Raspberry Pi deployment. Is it overkill? Maybe, but its really really cool.

> 24 hour30mm fan is so loud with its high pitch. Could have been perfect if not for the fan.

> 24 hourThe quality of this case is better than any other pi case I’ve ever come across in my years of tinkering with Raspberry Pis. I got this to house a new pi 4 retropie gaming unit I built for myself and I absolutely love the heft and weight it adds. The weight of the controller cord no longer pulls the pi off the shelf! It’s also really well designed, with the included circuit board moving all the port to the back of the unit, the easy to use power button, and easy to see power LED on the pi being visible through the smoked plastic on the front. It also has a GPIO index printed under the magnetic lid for easy reference and access to the GPIO pins! I love this thing so much I got a second one for my next project!
