Inadequate documentation and technical support. Did not work out of the box. Returned. Perhaps I could have figured it out after spending many more hours - but even finding basic support information was enormously time-consuming and frustrating.

Works perfectly on windows 11. Comes complete with software.

Unit does what it should. Unit is very big compared to others, and requires external power. This doesnt make it easily portable. The unit does however run well even on a very long USB extension lead. Overall Im fairly happy with the overall performance of the unit.

The drive is very fast and so far, is dependable. There is a power switch on the back that is very difficult to operate. Ive read reviews that the eject button (which is kind of hard to find) works intermittently. Im using the drive on a Mac and use software controlled eject. So for, no problems there either. Works well straight out of the box. It is not (in my opinion) portable, as its a full size drive and requires a power source.

I bought two of these turds (NOT FROM SYSTOR SYSTEMS) and neither work on any of my windows 10 machines. ASUS Support is non existent. Tricky Device Manager deletions dont work. Turn around and walk away from this. 2018 and i cant burn a DVD with this sham of a product.

It works like advertised. This is a basic external DVD drive. It is aesthetically appealing as well.

Straight out of the box I just burn a 1hr 25 minutes event, great !!!

The good: burns OQ BD DL disks! Does not overheat doing it Not so good: burns 6x BD DL at 4x, reads at 4x!
