We went from a double boot bag that we loved. It had boot pockets on both ends so we carried both pair of boots and a large center pocked in the middle this was a wheeled duffel and we loved it. Couldnt find anything like it anywhere (We used it for over 15 years). We found these EVERYTHING BOOT BAG/BACKPACK on Amazon an the reviews looked good so we gave it a shot. Have used them this season and really like them. We are spoiled and dont have to walk far to or from the lodge so we really didnt need the wheeled duffel any longer and it was finally worn out. These were a good choice. I carry extra gloves, socks, lighter shirt helmet and goggles and still have room for more. the boot compartments are vented so the boots dry nicely overnight without having to take them out of the bag. I would definitely recommend and buy this bag again.

Space galore. Thoughtfully designed. Comfortable when wearing on my back. Exceeded expectations.

Hands down these are the best check your boots bags. They are great because: -you can pack clothing in the side pockets and on top to protect your boots and helmet. Not only are they very well protected but you can pack an amazing amount of stuff in here -there are straps you can use like a back pack but a pocket to put them in when checking so they dont get caught -handle on the top where you need it -very sturdy I have used these to travel internationally etc. I stupidly bought one of the cooler boot bags that look more like a backpack for my kidsand while maybe if I someday am mountain climbing with my boots and skis they might be better for checking your boots not so much--less room and no way to pad your helmet. So now I had to go back and buy more of the athalon bags seriously--the best

Fits boots, helmet and a lot of clothes. When it’s full it’s heavy and bulky. I wouldn’t want to carry it for long

Really sturdy and well made. Fit all my ski gear with no problems (and a little room left): boots (26.5), helmet, goggles, gloves, pants, XC skiing pants/shirt/hat/gloves and base layer. I like the that shoulder straps can be hidden inside.

My husband told me he wouldnt use the (hidable) straps, but found them handy when he had to carry his own stuff and help another skier who had been injured. We did snip the stitching on one edge of the top inside fabric casing so we could melt the ends of the straps and handle more, given the reviews indicating that the handle ends can strip and pull out (thanks to reviewers who indicated this from their own experience!). We found that these ends could be melted more completely (my husband used a soldering iron for control, since the ends are short) so they couldnt strip and were fatter; my husband then tacked the casing back to the still-hot material, saving me some hand-sewing work. Everything else appeared very well made. He did have to write on it with a silver sharpie for labeling, as it has no built-in shipping tag and reviews say add-on strap ones tear off in airline transit. He had no problems whatever with this on his trip, and was amazed and amused at how much he could pack... and pack... and pack... into this after he had his boots and helmet in the appropriate compartments. He loved it! It carried everything his ski bag didnt. Definitely appreciate Athalons workmanship in general and would buy other products from them as needed.

This skate bag is Everything! I love everything about it especially the graffiti design- quality, not juvenile. Very well made, comfy shoulder straps, sturdy handles, pockets, cord hole and more. I love it

I purchased this bag four years ago and it’s held up to weekly use during ski season. The only signs of wear and tear I see are the gromits on the drain holes for the boot compartments are a bit rusty, but that’s on me for throwing in ski boots that still have ice and snow on them and not doing anything other than hanging the bag on my gear wall to dry. The bag easily holds my boots, ski helmet, goggles in their hard case, multiple pairs of gloves and mittens, neck warmers, hats, extra socks, hand warmers… all the extras you might wish for to adjust to changing conditions and maximize your enjoyment of a day on the slopes can be packed into this bag. It’s not a great backpack but it gets the job done if you have to haul it from the parking lot to baggage check and from baggage claim to your rental car or other transit. Mine is holding up to my abuse and neglect well and I will likely buy another if my current one ever needs to be replaced. I even took it along when chaperoning a week long school environmental camp in November and other parents commented “that is an awesome winter gear bag. Where do I get one?”

Athalon Everything Boot pack. The most comfortable, organized boot bag made today. Separate side entry boot sections. Reinforced hidden back pack straps. Expanding section for helmet. Waterproof bottom. Top and front carry handles. Front MP3 pocket w/ earphone outlet.  The most comfortable, organized, and useful boot bag on the market, the Athalon Everything boot pack offers space for just about all your ski gear save your skis themselves. The bag--which includes four padded lumbar back pads for comfort and support--is outfitted with a large main compartment with separate side-entry zippered boot sections, making it easy to slip your boots inside after a long day on the slopes. You also have plenty of room for other items thanks to the large expandable pocket, which can hold a ski helmet or jacket, and the bungee cords on the front for maps, goggles, and other accessories. Perhaps the most convenient feature for frequent skiers, however, is the pair of hidden, reinforced backpack straps, which make it easy to carry the boot pack to and from the parking lot. Other features include a waterproof tarp along the bottom to keep the bag and its contents from getting wet; a vented boot section with bottom drainage grommets; clips in each pocket for gloves, keys, and other small items; a front MP3 player pocket with an exterior earphone port; top and front carrying handles; matte chrome hardware; and a contoured shape that fits your boots perfectly. Lined with reflective piping to improve visibility on poorly lit days, the boot pack carries Athalon"s five-year warranty.
