> 3 dayI really wanted this to work. The back support detached within the first few weeks and now, only a year in, the back twist part fell off and cant be reconnected so Im unable to tighten it at all. Ill have to trash it and buy another. Guess I shoulda gone with brand name from the start. Lesson learned.

Greater than one weekIm a guy with a fluffy head of hair. Lots of people on YouTube recommended halo style straps, most of whom were very short-haired or bald. Im sure they work fantastic for them, but no matter what I tried theyd always just slide all over the place on my head, because they had no true geometry based grip and only relied on friction. THIS ON THE OTHER HAND is absolutely amazing, because it actually cups the base of my skull properly! The diamond-shaped side straps look totally sick and have been very strong so far (been using the headset occasionally over the past few years), adjustability is really smooth and easy, and the battery easily doubles my playtime. Kinda wish it was hot-swappable like the BoboVR system, but I guess we cant have everything. It does handle about any combination of power you can think of - obviously you can plug it into the Quest to charge it, but you can also leave it plugged in and turn it off so it DOESNT charge it... You can charge the battery itself, you can charge it while its plugged into the Quest without it charging the Quest, or you can daisy chain (sort of) to charge both with a single power source. (In this case, they will both charge simultaneously - some external batteries Ive used will route power directly to the other device to charge it faster before charging itself, but this does not do that.) Overall I havent taken it off and would highly recommend!

> 3 dayI was really nervous that this wouldnt be what it said it was based on price after looking at best buy. This has longer battery life and is incredibly comfortable. We have played for hours and havent had it go dead yet. It helps balance the oculus so that doesnt feel awkward or front heavy. I highly recommend this product and seller had perfect description and arrived a day early.

> 3 dayI bought this for my Oculus Quest 2 since the battery doesn’t last long. It arrived pretty quick but when I charged it, it didn’t hold a charge so I contacted Amazon and they helped me chat with a rep and the replacement was sent right away. I was amazed on how they handle the issue. Great product and service!

> 3 dayThe battery pack is working so well and we’re no longer running into issues with the oculus dying mid game. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I can’t say that the new strap is “comfortable,” I have to wear it pretty tight or it feels too wobbly, although I do like the knob on the back to tighten or loosen the head strap. Overall the extended battery life makes this a worthwhile purchase.

Greater than one weekNot particularly comparable with docking stations. You’ll have to juggle charging cords and plug in this battery separately from the magnetic dock connector that is common on docks. Other than that minor inconvenience.. it works and feels great

> 3 dayComfortable Headset addition. I very much enjoy this extended battery and turn-knob headset adjustment. The Fit is very comfortable and stays secure while playing the activity games such as Beat Saber, Anshar 2 Hyperdrive and a boxing exercise. My only suggestion, (from a friend who has this headset, and why I purchased this item), is to leave it on at all times. The snap part that clicks to the Oculus will start to wear by removing and on and off multiple times. Also get into the habit of raising the VR Oculus at the eye piece verses lifting this headset at the battery to limit excessive strain at the Snap connection point., noted above, to limit additional wear. My friends headset still works great as a Battery extender, but he had to invent an alternate Snap connection point and the fit is interestingly loose. Note: If you play the Anshar 2 Hyperdrive try using your office chair in the middle of the room, preferably with the https://www.amazon.com/UVII-Wheels%EF%BC%88Set-Replacement-Casters-Universal/dp/B08HCM46W2/ref=pd_rhf_ee_s_rp_c_1_sccl_4/147-4746125-6008801?pd_rd_w=eLXO7&pf_rd_p=bc9cf162-0b81-4a71-b760-f04d4e04f882&pf_rd_r=W1XMJAGR99RSNB5AN96Q&pd_rd_r=a0d97747-13e2-4c71-b62b-7c7f7d65963e&pd_rd_wg=wyfFa&pd_rd_i=B08HCM46W2&psc=1 on the casters to allow for a much better experience chasing in the space dog fights.

> 3 day***UPDATE: Just wanted to come back and say it’s now been about 2 months and I’m still lovin it! Still going strong! No wear and tear, no shoddy construction, no regrets! Also I’m a hardcore daily user so I’m definitely putting it through its paces. HappyHappyHappy I did about 40 minutes of research before finally deciding on this battery strap. I’ve been using it everyday for about 2 weeks now and I can say I am VERY happy with the purchase! In my research, the Meta strap seems to break on a lot of people. I didn’t want to spend $100 on something just for it to break and have to deal with the horrendous oculus customer service. This one is obviously a knockoff version of that but waaay less cost. The specs are also a little better. Battery life is advertised as boosted to 6 hours. I haven’t set a timer, but I can definitively say if it’s not 6 hours it’s close enough to where it’s not noticeable. A few nights ago we had people over, had a few adult beverages and played. I estimated we started about 5 pm and the headset died about 1030pm. Not to mention we were having a good ol time so we probably weren’t the most careful or gentle when passing the headset back and forth, removing and putting on etc etc and the strap stood up better than expected. Went to a family gathering last night and one of the kids brought his oculus with the elite strap so I checked it out compared to mine. I’ll tell you this.. if the meta elite and the aubika were side by side I’d pick the aubika just on the eye test alone. Seems a lot sturdier. Easy installation, sturdy hard plastic material and a dial in back to loosen/tighten. Very comfortable on the back of the head with the sturdy rubber “head cup” I guess you could call it haha, huuuuge upgrade from the stock strap. Long story short, this is proof there’s other options out there besides the Meta elite, Bobo and kiwi. I feel like I found a hidden gem with the Aubika. 40% cheaper than the Meta with longer battery life and made from sturdier material. Don’t call it a knock off because it’s actually better than what they’re imitating if you ask me. You will not regret this purchase and you can talk smack to the people who spend more money on lower quality hahaha A+ product for this guy.

> 3 dayBought this to replace my old strap (I accidentally broke it). It’s very nice and I don’t feel like my oculus is gonna fall off my head anymore. If you’re using the oculus and trying to charge it with the battery, of course it’s not really going to charge it. Instead it just slows down the dying of the headset, which is honestly still great!
