I am new to the quilting and relied on others with experience in quilting, in regards to the best things to use to make a quilt. My first quilt was machine quilted and I used 30 wt. thread, only because I couldn’t find locally the 50 wt. I ordered 50 wt. and it was so difficult to use. It is so easy to break and a challenge to work with. I’ll go back to the 30 weight on my next quilt.

I purchased this spool of thread just to find out what Aurifil was all about. Very nice, smooth, thin thread. When you quilt in the ditch it disappears nicely. I still think it is a little pricey!

Thread can make a difference when it comes to quilting and your machine. This thread is the best for my Smarter by Pfaff c1100 pro sewing machine. I tried other threads but had problems. From now on this will be the tread I use on my Pfaff.

I’m so happy I ordered this! I did a review on another color. But this thread litterally glides through the machine beautifully! Low lent, no breakage, and I have noticed a big in machine quilting! Wow! I was on fence to pay for it. But I’m glad I did!! Plus it’s more thread than store ones.
