Belkin 6-Outlet Home and Office Power Strip Surge Protector, 4ft Cord

This surge protector has a few things going for it: its cheap, it comes in many cord lengths, and the power switch is almost impossible to flip by accident. However, it also has one major flaw that prevents me from recommending it fully: theres no way to tell at a glance whether its on or off, and this is a disappointing omission when most surge protectors have illuminating switches and/or status lights. For certain applications (for example, Im using it as a master power switch for devices that are fiddly to turn off individually), this is a major irritation. That said, I realize mine is an edge case, and for the 99.9% of people who never need to turn off their power strips, this is a great, inexpensive set it and forget it solution that gives you the peace of mind of a surge protector and the security of a goof-proof power switch.

Pros: Cheap Cons: Orientation of outlets can be inefficient This power strip is fine for home use, but the orientation of the outlets is inefficient and can render some of them useless. I bought several of these for my house and can only use about 3 outlets at a time. The cord is a bit stiff so its hard to keep these things on the ground, but theyre good enough for the price.

Powers my devices with no problems, just a basic power strip in my eyes, nothing fancy and will protect your gadgets to a extent like any other strip. Worth a buy for basic needs

Go Belkin or go home. I hook my Mac Pro up to this baby. All the outlets still work. Bought this almost a year ago. Definitely recommend it for the price.

Works well. Reasonable price.

I use this for my trailer. I needed a short cord, and this unit fit the bill. Only if they had even a shorter cord.
