Belkin 6-Outlet Home and Office Power Strip Surge Protector, 4ft Cord

DECEPTIVE AD. I NEEDED a 90* flat plug with a short cord to fit in a tight space, which is what the ad implied. This POS has a straight out plug that doesnt fit in the back of my drawer. Returning it and making Amazon eat the shipping because of false advertising.

I have no complaints about the Belkin 6-Outlet Home/Office Surger Protector with 4 cord. It is very inexpensive to purchase through Amazon and works well. The cord length seems longer than most surge protectors carried in the stores which helps me work on my laptop just about from anywhere in my living room with it plugged in. The battery died and I do not want to spend money at the moment purchasing a new one. This protector keeps it safe while still allowing me the mobility expected from a laptop.

Brought two of these the other day been using them for a week and they seem to work fine. Got these based on the reviews that they are cheap, simple, and works. However, after a bit more research online I would pass on this purchase if I had to order it again. Apparently, most surge protectors have a indicator light on the switch or device itself to show that surge protection is working. If the light goes out it means the surge protector was damaged in a past surge and is not longer offering protection and needs to be replaced. The device however will continue to function as a basic power strip. This product has no such indicator light. Therefore you can never tell if the surge protection is still working or not. Consequently, I would only recommend using this product for basic electronics that you dont care too much about e.g. phone chargers, etc. For more expensive electronics like home entertainment systems, TVs, or computers, I would go with a better product.

I needed a surge protector for the multiple electronic devices for my dorm room and this surge protector has since done its job. Id buy it again if I ever needed another one. You get your moneys worth and as a plus, I like how the power button is at the end because with some of my older surge protectors, it was easy to accidentally shut it off with your foot, etc. sometimes. The length is just perfect for the room as well.

Its a great surge protector for the price. No complaints. Spacing between outlets is pretty decent. The cord could be a bit longer, but thats it. What else is there to say??
