> 3 dayWe used these hangars for a toddler swing on our back porch. We joked that if a grown man could fit in that swing, the hangars would hold him!

> 3 dayThese are excellent hangers! They are indeed heavy duty and I feel completely confident that they will last far longer than I can imagine. I purchased a set of red and a set of green. Both are brightly colored and add that little pop of color for a playground. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and I would gladly buy them again. Some people are complaining that it does not come with hardware. Please understand that every persons mounting surface may be different. It would be unrealistic for them to include various hardware in the hopes it is adequate for most installations. Plan accordingly and go to your local hardware store. Now to some of my criticisms... 1) I had to return one set of them because the enamel did not adhere well to the metal and was flaking off. A small drop and a good chunk of it fell off. The return process was easy but it would be better if they manufactured these with multiple thin coats of enamel versus one quick heavy dip. The two pairs I have already showing signs of wear on the paint and I have only had them up a week. Minus 1 star for that. I should have just got the silver ones and be done with it because the chipping paint is going to drive me nuts every time I see it. 2) Within 2 days of use, they started to have a bit of a squeak. Its not a huge deal though because I was going to spray (very lightly) the hangers with a water, dust, and rust resistant lubricant anyway. They are smooth as can be after the spray but they do not require a lot of spray.

Greater than one weekMy husband was able to do this practically on his own. We got the wood from Home Depot and maybe and hour and a half later if not less we were all swinging. He did have to round the edges a bit to get the posts in the brackets. The brackets were a bit snug, but it didnt delay his work any. It feel really strong and durable. this is something my kids can grow with and we can easily maintain. I was looking online hours for a swing set to get the kids this summer and I just thought we can do this. Im really glad we did.

> 3 dayMy husband looked all over locally for these and he couldn’t locate them. He was pretty excited to find them here. The downfall is that one arrived without the holes. He’s frustrated that it’s not an open and install project anymore, but says he can hopefully get them drilled himself to get the task completed in time. Overall, he is impressed with the sturdiness. Edited to add, he changed his mind and we will be returning/exchanging.

> 3 dayWe had tried multiple ways to attach our swing to a tree branch that sloped upwards. For a few years we had a chain wrapped over the branch; while this worked (until the friction eventually wore through one of the links) it create huge gouges in the branch. We then wen through a series of tree straps all of which frayed and broke - some within days, some within weeks. These have worked perfectly - had to cut 2 small flat sections in the branch to screw these to but they have stayed solid for a year now; no more damage to the branch, no straps or chains braking and sending kids sprawling on the ground. Added a little bit of grease to stop some squeaking but other than that perfect.
