Heavy duty, good quality and great price... dont waste your money on those metal swing sets or kits... Total cost was less than $300 and will never wobble or wear out any time soon.

These brackets are rusting at the welds after about 30 days of installation. Update 9/20/2020: I contacted the seller and they sent me new brackets, so good customer service, will keep an eye on these new ones.

So far have had no problems with my swing brackets, only 1 week old now. Im glad I made my husband look at what I ordered before he went to get the wood for swing set. The directions said exactly what you needed. The wood is not 4x4 for top part, it is 4x6. Very sturdy and cheaper than another one I was looking at on Amazon. Happy with my purchase =D

I used these brackets to make a hanger for our porch swing. You will need to purchase 4 4x4 posts and one 4x6 post for the kit. I used 8 ft posts and it was perfect for the porch swing. A word of caution...the bracket is a bit tight for the 4x6 post. It took quite a bit of encouraging with a large hammer and at least an hour of hammering to get those on. I would recommend taking some time to sand down or plane down the ends of the 4x6 so the bracket will fit easier. Once its put together, this is very solid, even with two adults in the swing. Highly recommend!

For the beam I used I did have to sand it a bit to get it on but it does make for a sturdy swing set.

my only concern are the welds. not the best Ive ever seen. looked like they were put together with glue. time well tell! they did cut me when working with them!

Fortunately, I received brackets with the preferred bolt pattern and good welds. Dont pay much attention to the instructions. Use 10 legs if you want to make use of 66 chain swings. I used a 10 top piece and added the cross members for extra stability. The separately purchased hangars dont come with hardware, so get some 5/16x2 lag screws and washers. I suggest securing legs on one side but only insert the other two to stand the whole thing up. Then, make everything square and level before securing the other legs. The wood required a little bit of sanding, mainly the corners, to slide it smoothly. Overall, its a good way to build a swing.

Used these brackets to build a swing set for my niece and nephew for their birthday, it was incredibly easy and fast as long as you know how to use a drill and impact driver. My brother-in-law and I had this fully assembled with 3 swings in under an hour and a half, definitely a job for at least 2 people to wrangle all the heavy beams into place. Honestly, transporting the lumber without a large truck was the most difficult part of the whole operation (A roof rack is your friend here for the 10+ top beam). It makes a nice looking swing set, and the rest of the family was impressed as if it was any more difficult to assemble than Ikea furniture.

Make sure you double check the direction of the angles the picture on the instructions is wrong. Stickers go on opposite sides

Stained wood with a redwood stain/sealer combination. Like mentioned previously it took a little effort to fit brackets over the 4x6. I added the 2x6 on each end just for extra support. Result was a beautiful and well made swing set for my grandkids.
