Works perfect. The 4 x 6 beam was a super snug fit. Make sure to install that first then the 4 x 4 legs. Seems like it’ll last forever.

These made building an a-frame for my porch swing so easy! I did need to sand down the beams a bit in order to fit them into the brackets though and also rubbed them down with some soap to help them slide in easier. Overall, they look great, feel super sturdy and were a simple solution to building a stand for my swing!

Ultimately, the product did what I needed it to and I am happy with the end result. Some things to consider: 1. I dont know if there is a best practice way to put this together but I think no matter what, you will likely put pieces together and take apart so you can make the holes but also maneuver the structure. 2. I was Solo constructing, would be easier with two 3. The brackets are directional, I realized this but still managed to put one on the wrong way...which leads to the next item 4. Some have commented regarding undersizing. I was reworking a swing that I built many years ago. It used to be connected to the slide decking but due to our new home would not fit in the original configuration. I used a different bracket system for the original design but wanted something uniform and easy to keep symmetrical for the revision. The point is, I had 2 4x4 that were seasoned and fit well even with a bit of play. The green 4x4s were definitely tighter but I was able to get them in without tools. The 4x6, while seasoned, had been on the ground for over a year and taken on moisture. It was very hard to get in and ultimately had to resort to using a maul (and board for protection) to hammer the brackets onto the beam. While a workout, the process worked well. Was a disappointment when I had to reverse this to correct my installation that was backward, but that is on me. All in all I am happy with the purchase and outcome.

Worked great. Sturdy enough to hold two adult on the swings. Definitely recommend two adults to stand the swing set up.

my only concern are the welds. not the best Ive ever seen. looked like they were put together with glue. time well tell! they did cut me when working with them!

For the beam I used I did have to sand it a bit to get it on but it does make for a sturdy swing set.
