Cant measure from ends of level

This level is great for hanging pictures and marking where studs are on the wall. The cut out in the middle of the level along with the Accu Mark circles ensures that you will not need to have numerous holes in your wall. The only thing I wish this level had was a magnetized surface. I did not find any issues with my level being off as others have described and compared it to another level I know is true.

This was not what I thought it would be but I take responsibilty for that. I looked at the photos prior to ordering but did not get a realistic feel for the scale. I thought I would be receiving a much smaller level to hang pictures that could be conveniently tucked away when not in use. After receipt, I re-read the description and recommend others do the same prior to placing an order. This item is as long as a yardstick, so if you have small storage space this is definitely not something you can just slip into a drawer with nails and a hammer. If you hang numerous pictures or do other work around the house that would involve frequent use, this might be just what youre looking for. However, for the infrequent home user, I think its just too much.

I put it on a flat surface and the level reads a specific mark. Then I turn it on the other side (left to right) and the reading is on other different level. (Should read the same).

I thought this would be a great item. Unfortunately I did not measure my art and mirrors prior to ordering. The level was absolutely worthless to me other than being a perfectly good level. My pictures etc. were either too narrow or too wide to use the hanger feature. Make sure your items fit in the range. It also made marks on the wall even with the vinyl pads on the backside. Wish I had not purchased.

This works wonderfully for hanging pictures. Makes it easy.

You would think amazon would check a product that had known problems before shipping, thats apparently not the case.... both end pads were missing as others have reported. The plastic centering circles are also loose so what the point of having them if they will move at will. Overall, a great design poorly executed by Black and Decker

I give it a 4 star because it does not have the continuous measuring units on the bar. In other words, I cannot use it like a long yard stick. Other than that, I am very happy with it.
