BoatBuckle G2 Retractable Transom Tie-Down, 1 Pair

My boat came equipped with 2 ratcheting straps at the stern, to tie the boat to the trailer. I always found it a pain to remove these straps when launching the boat, as they are very tight, and the ratchet system requires a lot of fiddling and hard presses (almost hurting) with fingertips in order to unlock. Not something you can do quickly when waiting in line to launch with other boat owners behind you. With the boat buckle, these problems are of the past. Removing the strap takes one keypress, and I love that the strap itself stays attached to the trailer, so there is no way to loose it and its always there. When tightening the strap, the ratchet allows you to make it very tight with almost no effort. I would recommend this product to anyone who doesnt like their straps. Its well worth the money and solidly built. Note that I ordered the product on this product page, but only received 1 strap. Amazon fixed it for me of course, and told me to order again and they would refund the purchase. So I ordered again from this same product page, and got 1 strap again. No big deal in my case (since I ended up with 2 straps for the 1 price listed on this page), but dont be surprised if this happens to you. Just contact Amazon customer service.

Super easy to install, super easy to use at the boat ramp. Better than Messing around with the old style straps.

Have the stainless ones on the big saltwater boat and the normal one on a Bass boat. Work great... WELL worth the expense.

I can’t believe I didn’t get these from the start. Easy to install, would recommend custom size bolts and washers to get the perfect fit. So quick and easy; and they’re always right there.
