My radio communications instantly got better; because, I could actually hear ATC clearly! These are very quiet and clear. My only complaint is that when the batteries die, these have really really poor sound insulation. Be warned, carry extra batteries!

Works great! I did not realize that I did not buy the Bluetooth version... at this cost it should have both corded and Bluetooth options in the same unit.

Glad I actually spent the money on a quality headset. As a student on an accelerated program I am flying multiple times a day. The Bose a20 with Bluetooth has been a life saver allowing me to listen an respond to atc easily. An music on the cross country trips is amazing.

Update to original review regarding the GA plug issue: Bose support promised 3 different times to send a replacement mic assembly to try to fix the GA plug issue. However, they never actually sent any. Seems someone at Bose keeps blocking the shipment. They said a glitch prevented shipment. But after 3 times, its obvious Bose doesnt take promises seriously. Bose: if you dont think a replacement will help, say so. Dont keep telling me you will send a replacement to fix it, and then never follow through. If you are looking for great support, Bose may not be for you. Buyers beware.

Having an immense amount of noise cancellation reveals a new flying experience to a pilot, especially when your flying a prop plane. At times I don’t even notice the drone of the motor. I do however wish that the battery was rechargeable, however when this is your only complaint I’d say it’s a awesome buy.

Great product. I was about to give it a 4 because I had some issues with the cable becoming all twisted but the customer service was amazing. They sent me a new cable right away. Makes flying so enjoyable. As a CFI who flies several hours a day it is a must have.

I bought these for my Dad as a birthday present, he is a private pilot that flys roughly 10-15 hours a month. He loves the Bluetooth function and the ability to easily listen to music while he flys now.

This was not what I was expecting. I am a flight student at Embr-Riddle. The headset makes a terrible noise when coming in for a landing. The sound is so bad I have to take them off. Has anyone else had these issues?
