> 3 dayThis is perfect for locking up our bikes to our hitch mount bike carrier. Solid construction. I even used it to lock all the bikes up in bike racks while biking around. A bit long for that use but worked great.

15-06-2025This cable is reasonably convenient and effective to the extent possible - but NOTHING is perfect. The best you can really do is lock up the bike to a secure substantial structural element (pole etc.) with a smaller/tight U-Shackle lock combined with a cable or chain to loop through everything including the wheels and seat. If the bike is in a confined jammed up area, possibly with many other bikes, it will be harder to get tools physically onto the lock and cable/chain. Larger U-Shackle locks are more convenient than smaller ones, but are heavier and can more easily be twisted/tweaked/broken with large crowbars. Remember ANYTHING can be defeated, so dont leave the bike unattended any longer than necessary. Given access, tools, a little time, and lack of effective Law Enforcement, ANY bicycle security equipment can be DEFEATED. Security cables can be CUT with a sharp, well-adjusted bolt cutters, locks can be SHATTERED with a sledge/hammer & freezing agent, high-powered cordless grinders can CUT/DEFEAT hardened chains and lock shackles. lock cylinders can be DRILLED OUT/punched out. The dirtier and uglier your bike is the less attractive to thieves it will be. Good luck.

> 3 dayThis is for a side by side and riding mower stored at a summer place. Good quality and I feel good about this purchase. Not the cheapest but a good value for what it’s protecting. I like the thickness and flexibility.

> 3 dayNice to have a long flexible cable, but can be cut very fast and silently. Would not recommend for anything valuable that is left unattended. Bike was stolen right next to our tent, didn’t hear a peep.

> 3 dayMy dogs arent giant but they have been going through those cheap (yet expensive) tie out cables. They dont stay outside all day but still manage to break them within a few months. I finally decided to get these instead. 800 pound limit? No, 8000. Looks good and my dogs dont care

Greater than one weekThis was just what we needed to lock up some community property. Strong and flexible, it fit the bill.

10-06-2025This is plenty long (I got 15) to wrap around anything. When I go to the gym, I have to wrap it round a structural support outside thats quite big, so I needed a cable this long.

Greater than one weekGot it to strap my Milwaukee pack out boxes to my work van, they were a little too thick to pass through the pack out side bars but if you loop it through itself it works great. And its built pretty sturdy with thick material.
