B&W Fifth Wheel Hitch Lifting Device

Works exactly as described. Combined with a chain hoist it makes pulling your 5th wheel hitch a easy one man job.

We use it to remove the 25K fifth wheel hitch from our tow vehicle. It will work with all standard fifth wheel hitches and requires no assembly whatsoever (Amazon asked me about assembly, I have no idea why).

This is a well built tool for the B&W companion hitch. I just attach the lifting device inside the jaws of my hitch. Then take the tractor front end loader, attach a come-a-long and attach the hook to the device. I get the cable almost snug. Then I get in the bed of the truck and slowly tightening the cable. This lifts the hitch out of the socket without any manual labor. Then, I lift and back up and carry the hitch to the shop and set the hitch on its pallet and unhook. Love it. Just reverse steps to get a easy install also.

Some where amongst these review I read someone said this lifter fit their Pullrite 20K hitch. Well, it will not fit a Pullrite 20K superglide. Now I realize this is a product BW made for their 5th wheels, but I thought it might work. Could you make it work I guess you could, but look at my photos and you will see all it would take would be a slight movement and you might find yourself in trouble. With all that aside I am sure this is a wonderful product and I was looking forward to using it instead of chains and scratching up my hitch. So, for those of you wondering if this product will fit a Pullrite Superglide the short answer is NO.

Wow ; why didnt I think of that ! Been usin chains or cables bolted to fifth wheel for years to put in or take out hitch , this little device rocks!
