> 3 dayMy dump valve isn’t closing all the way and I used this valve to stop the leaking. I leave the primary valve open and close this one so I can keep the tank level up to dissolve waste. I should replace the dump valve but it is a major operation just to get to it.

> 3 dayThe idea behind this product is great, but this particular one isnt the highest quality. Ive used it a handful of times now, and noticed that the seal isnt water tight in some spots. The orange connector that locks onto the RV exit valve seems to have a small leak, and much worse, the ball valve for the water/flush hose doesnt have any sort of seal on it. I always have the water connector facing up and my black and grey water never flowing through it enough to have anything come out, but when I connect up my hose and and back flush into the tanks, I can turn that ball valve off, and water will still continue flowing into the tanks through it. I had an extra ball valve so I connect that to my hose before connecting the hose to this product, but without that, black water could potentially flow back into my hose and even up into the water supply at the dump station. Maybe I just got a bad one that didnt get the seals checked properly, and now Im past the time to be able to return it, so I guess Im out of luck. Bottom line: Pros: Love the idea, convenient to be able to back flush to rinse and clear the black water tank, easy to use. Cons: Cheap material, all plastic, seals dont seem to seal the water in, and you may need to purchase an extra ball valve.

> 3 dayThis product was very easy to use! It was great to be able to rinse out the tank all in one step

> 3 dayPosition of release lever is awkward even after rotating the attachment to the drain. The hose hookup is also awkward.

> 3 dayI use this to flush my black tank periodically since my built-in tank flush is terrible. It is intuitive and safe to use. My only advice is to make sure you use as high water input pressure as you can. I have poor results when i use my regulated (~40psi) supply. When i plug the hose directly into city water it seems to work better.

> 3 dayLet me begin by saying Im sort of OCD when it comes to keeping my things clean during and after I used them. I came across this tool in an RV YouTube video that talked about the black water tank. During my educational research to make sure I am doing and cleaning everything properaly, I decided this is a must. I used it for the first time a couple of weeks ago, before that I was either dumping 5 gallons at a time to rinse out the black water tank, or dragging a hosing inside to fill it up to get additional flushes. It takes about 3 to 4 flushes to see clean/clear water consistently, and with this set up it seemed to improve the process with the water back filing the tanks. The fresh water valve and clear elbow in one place also helps. My suggestion for peace of mind, also get a quality digital water flow meter that can be reset between fills, this way if you have a 30 gallon tank, you know when to turn it off without having someone stand watch or you running back and forth to check on it. Using time a gauge isnt a good idea since the locations will have different pressures and flow rates, the digital meter will be the most accurate in this case. If you want your tanks clean (I even back flush the gray tank) for storage then this is a must. If youre new to RVing also suggest watching videos on how to maintain the tanks while not is use. Tons of great information out there. I use a Simple Green Lemon and Calgon mix in the black tank and Pinsolve and Calgon in the gray tank, both with 5 gallons of fresh water to slosh around and keep it clean. Hope this helps.

> 3 dayThis worked great the first 2 times I used it. On the 3rd time the ball valve for the freshwater side blew off and poo water started spraying out of it. I ended up finding the valve and the Orrington holding the valve in place was split. The screw was also missing. This caused that valve to fail and blow out of water connection. Amazon did send a label for a refund. I plan to replace it now that I know what I need to check on the valves.
