> 3 dayThese are a great idea, but this model is not the Valterra model. The first issue is that most of these have the flush hose inlet on the wrong side of the valve. The way this should be set up is so the valve is on the RV side, and the hose connection opposite. If your RV tank valve is closed and the elbow valve is closed. When you turn on your water hose. Pressure builds up and blows the parts apart. Granted they can be reassembled after you dry off, but clearly this is not the solution. You want to have the Valve on the RV side and the flush hose after that. Then when the gate valve is closed the water will flow down the sewer hose and not build up pressure and blow apart. Furthermore you can flush your sewer hose with the gate valve closed. Lastly the shut off ball valve failed and leaked after just 1 season. Total waste of money. Buy a Valterra gate valve and elbow with flush hose attachment and put the two together to have a long lasting reliable flush system that will not leak or blow apart.

> 3 dayI only wish I had this black water valve earlier… this saves times and clean up is very easy, just carefully read the instructions that came with your kit…I can clean and flush my blank water tank in about 10 minutes, therefore not holding up other campers waiting to empty their holhing tanks…

> 3 dayDont know why we never ran across this item when we first started with an RV. This helps a lot with cleaning out the tanks. Works like it should. Make sure the tank door is open or it will spray everywhere.

> 3 dayAlways a difficult job to clean out our black water tank after dumping. We often use a hose down the toilet which can be messy. I have tried this just once and its great. Easy to use. We feel it cleans the tank thoroughly after dumping. We carry a spare short non potable water hose, just in case the dump station does not have a hose with a threaded end (Which the usual case). So far so good.

> 3 dayI was surprised at how well this works. It cleaned gunk out of my tank I didnt even know I had. Quality of build is good and looks sturdy. I had to rotate the valve assembly, but thats not a problem, its designed in a modular fashion to be rotated in whatever orientation you need. It even made my tank sensors work properly again. Tank sensors are notorious for inaccurate readings due to gunk on the sensors. After multiple flushes the sensors in both the black and grey tanks are working again! From now on I will always have one of these in any camper I own. Im a full timer so Ill be using this weekly. I now have a stink and gunk free poo tank, happy camper again. Highly recommended, get one.

> 3 dayLooks and sounds great...the flush valve feature only provides way to reverse fill your black or gray tank which would be a whole lot better if it didnt take so long...I prefer my wand with a high pressure rotating head that you put into the toilet from above attached to a hose as it blasts the inside of your black tank cleaning stuck things from interior...
