high quality bright color

Its crazy expensive but isnt that the case with all printer inks? You can buy a 3rd party ink for a quarter of the price, but the reason why people buy Pixma Pro 100s is because of the photo quality that can only be achieved by legitimate ink. I wish canon offered ink subscriptions for this :(

Cant say enough about the Pixma Pro-100 printer and the inks! Great products! The photos are gorgeous. We mainly print 13 x 19s, but just for home use so were not printing often. We have not kept track as to how long a tank lasts, but because that would depend on what colors are being used for each photo, it would be difficult to calculate. I would never consider using any other ink, but the reason for 4 stars over 5 is the price/tank; it gets a bit pricey!

Great OEM ink, but massively overpriced. Canon seems to be following the HP strategy of virtually giving away printers to sell their high quality inks. The only good point is that it does last awhile.

Much like eyeglasses and Ticketmaster, printer ink cartridges is a racket that somehow should not be legal. I need a home printer for my business and use a Canon pixma - its a pretty nice printer. But the frequency and cost of replacing the ink cartridges is an utter travesty. I swear it uses ink even when not in use and somehow uses colored ink even when I mostly print black and white. And not only that, then you have a ton of empty, environmentally toxic cartridges left over. Yes you can recycle them but are they really getting recycled? Or just given to country that has no qualms about dumping them in the ocean? GAH! (Im shaking my fist at the sky!!!)

Right ink, reasonable price, arrived quickly. I wish inkjet ink prices werent as high as they are, but thats not unique to this purchase, thins ink, or Canon, so ... thats not really relevant.

I learned a long time ago to use ONLY Canon Ink in a Canon Printer. I have seen other ink advertised but there are always drawbacks. The main reason I use Canon Ink is because its a superior Ink with better color!
