This lense didn’t work for me. It couldn’t focus and all the pictures were blurry. I have 2 other lenses that worked fine and the pictures came out great but not with this one. I called customer service and he also confirmed that it was defect. Sorry but, I had to return it. I was given a full refund which I am happy.

Very good lens. Night pictures w/o flash are very fine.

Terrific lens, under the right lighting circumstances. It takes beautifully crisp shots with a perfectly blurred background. Only issue I found is it searches a lot in dim/low light. Other than than that I can’t complain!

Extremely high quality portrait photos. Used this lens to take pictures for our Christmas cards and everyone asked where we had our pictures taken. Awesome lens.

Great lens

I bought this to replace my other 50mm. I didn’t really get the chance to use it until recently. Found out that after using it the whole AF locks up and the lens won’t focus and makes loud noises. Super disappointed. I tried to see about a policy to return or get it fixed but can’t seem to find it in the description.

The lens had problem with manual focusing. Maybe broken internal motor or lences fitting? It was not possible to focus in the extreme positions. I had to return the item.

I really thought from research and reviews that I was getting a lens that would “blur my background”, for portraits...I’m a little disappointed bc this was my very first lens, that I bought that didn’t come with my rebel6 and I got it specifically for family, children, wedding, infant, photography. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’ve used someone else’s first! I even watched several hours of YouTube videos before I purchased and I’m still fairly disappointed. Other than my own disappointments, it came fast and as described. I did not need all the extras it came with, but there wasn’t any selling without it.

Was so excited and loved the photographs taken with it shortly after receiving the lens. Used it off and on for three to four weeks with good results. Then, it just stopped auto-focusing. Thought it was the cameras fault, but my other lenses worked fine. Eventually, couldnt get it to ever work. So disappointed as I had wanted this lense for such a long time to use in photographing my grandchildren,
