09-06-2025I really like how thick this paper is, I’m using it for sketches and paint. It does curl a lot if you’re using watercolor, which is what I wanted it for initially. But it’s good for acrylic paint and marker so it’s still good.

> 3 dayOops I bought this thinking it was regular canson xl mixed media paper but that is preferably 140lb paper. This paper is 90lb. If you are unfamiliar with what that means you should do a little bit of research because paper will matter in your work. 90lb is very thin and does not take water very well. I do not think that it should be called mixed media paper in my opinion. 140lb is your average watercolor paper which in my opinion is completely my fault because I didnt check the description. I will only take one star off though consider these flaws. This shouldnt be used with watercolor. I dont even really think you should use markers. (Unless they are super cheap) If you want this for crayons or colored pencils, be my guest. be my guest Put our service to the test Tie your napkin round your neck, cherie And well provide the rest Soup du jour, hot hors doeuvres Why, we only live to serve Try the grey stuff, its delicious Dont believe me, ask the dishes . On that note.. have a great day and decide what you will on this paper.

> 3 daySince my local stores stopped selling these, and this kind is all I will use for my art due to the wonderful paper quality and durability of the book itself, Ive had to order them online now. I hate not being able to buy them in person anymore but Im sure to order them in advance before my prior book is full, I love the quality of these pages as they are thick and dont smear too much but also smear just the way I need them to when blending graphite. Overall out of all the brands Ive tried over the years this brand has been my favorite, If you are a traditional artist looking for high quality paper that your pencil wont poke through and wont smear to all hell, this is your book! Only down fall is the spiral spine, after some use those spirals come undone and the book becomes hard to open and close properly.

> 3 dayNice size. Sturdy. I love it. I use my pentel brush pen on it, and it doesnt seep through, but my copic does. This isnt a deal breaker though because this sketchbook is pretty high quality imo. Recommended!

Greater than one weekIt works perfectly with acrylics, pastels, watercolors, charcoal, oil paints etc. etc. Pages are are a good thickness and sent flimsy. Shipping was fast and only took a few days with normal shipping

Greater than one weekIt did the job for my art appreciation class. However, I do not recommend this paper if you are just doing water colors because the paper peels badly when exposed to water.

> 3 dayI spent forever checking at art shops and online to find the right journal for a class Im doing - I wanted it to be big enough to paint/draw/glue/etc. in, but not too bit to carry easily. The weight of the paper is enough that itll probably take the watercolor well, as long as I dont get too wash-y, and certainly enough for pens, with just enough texture to make it feel good without being distracting. The spiral binding makes it easy to keep open to the page Im working on, and the pages could easily pull out where they are perforated, but also stay in nicely. Im so glad I picked this journal/pad.
