It works great with watercolor

The sheets are such an amazing quality but I wont say they are for beginners. Dont get me wrong, you can use whatever paper you want to draw on, but this paper is very thick to the point where you want to only draw things you know you would spend a good amount of work on.

Thanks for making the extra large size. It helps make some projects easier to create, I like the side wire storage; the papers do not get scattered about my work area.

I love it it’s perfect!

I bought this Canson Mixed Media pad to do journaling in with markers, colored pencils and watercolors. The this art pad is the perfect size for journaling in mixed media. The paper has a nice tooth to it, perfect for colored pencils and graphite as well as charcoal. The paper is 98 lb, perfect for layering in various mediums. Im very happy with it and will purchase more as I continue to work on journaling.

everything is good with this both except the XL let me to believe that it was normal size if not maybe a little bit bigger not the pages perhaps but maybe like more pages or maybe even bigger pages however its really small like maybe a mini notebooks which maybe it says on the description I dont know I guess I didnt read it I read the title and then I read the reviews and I guess that was my fault for assuming but its much smaller than a regular size notebook and its not bad for using with alcohol markers of course there is some bleedthrough but not onto the next page which is great so overall I do recommend this item however it is a bit misleading that its an XL for somebody who knows not much about art but as a gift for an artist but overall he was happy with the purchase so that was the only reason I gave it three stars was because of the size

I really like these extra-long sheets. I can cut them to print something that I want to use my Watercolor Pencils on. I am very happy.

My son loves this paper. The versatility of this paper can be used for various medians. My son is a beginning artist and can use his water colors, color crayons, and colored pencils on it and I don’t need to worry of damaging the paper and getting upset. We all know what its like when your eight-year-old is coloring and all of a sudden theres a hole in the paper the artwork is ruined that doesnt happen with this. Its size its great for backpacks and on the go so its portability is amazing and because of the price Point I would say this is an excellent thing for beginners. For its weight and thickness it helps whatever median you use look great and really holds color well.
