This worked really well. The large diameter made catching the oil easy and the handles and pouring spout made pouring the oils into containers relatively easy. The stated capacity of this oil drain pan is 4.5 gal (16 liters), but actual capacity if under 4.0 gal. My first use was to drain 3.8 gal (14.4L) hydraulic oil from a John Deere 2025R tractor. There should have been excess capacity in the drain pan, but the 3.8 gal nearly overflowed. Transferring the used oil to smaller containers confirmed approx. 3.8 gal (less than 4.0 gal) of used oil present. If you require less than 4.0 gal of capacity - this is a great oil drain pan. If youre expecting to use the full 4.5 gal capacity - have absorbent materials handy for the overflow.

So much better quality than what Ive found in local stores. It actually has a pour spout that works! Excellent product and design.

Purchased this for oil changes and was not dissapointed. Sturdy, thoughtfully designed and great pricepoint compared to the junk at walmart. Even though its larger than I need, the bigger size allows for less messy oil changes. Highly recommended.

Great product

I paid extra to get the green one. Why? I like green better than black. Anyhow, the pan works as good as any reasonable DIYer could expect. Catches the liquid whatever without splash, pours it out easily, and cleaning is a snap with a couple of paper towels.
