Capri Tools CP21023 Portable Oil Drain Pan, Anti-Freeze, Green

Great oil pan. I have tried many different enclosed oil pans that supposedly allow you to transport the oil it them to a disposal place (usually an auto parts store). They have ALL leaked. After I bought my F-250 diesel that holds 13 quarts of oil, I wanted to try something different. I saw this pan has great reviews so I gave it a try. It is awesome. Very sturdy, easy to clean. The spout is well designed and makes it easy to pour out the oil into a container to transport back to the auto parts store. I just used the 1 Gal jugs I just filled the engine with. So much better than the enclosed type. The one thing I will say is the capacity is misleading. It states it will hold 4 1/2 gallons of oil. I think that must be to the very top of the rim. I drained 3 1/4 gal of oil into it and I wouldnt want to put any more in. It would have made it very difficult to move without spilling everywhere. As it was with only 3 1/4 gal in it the oil was within an inch of the top rim of the pan.

Used the oil pan for the first time. Works great. Large bowl and easy to pour into recycled container.

The quality is excellent! Well-made in Taiwan. More than I can expect.

Works really well. Nice and big, easy to handle. I only have two minor complaints, but nothing big. First, theres no cap for the spout, so I need to be careful about it dripping. Second, the spout is kind of square shaped which makes it harder to fit into certain containers. I usually pour my old oil into old 5-quart oil containers, but this spout barely doesnt fit, so I have to use a funnel.

Dont waste your time with all of those other flimsy drain pans, I just wish I would have gotten this years ago instead of making a mess trying to drain/pour from the cheap thin flimsy pans have everyone seems to own that changes their own oil. I use this for everything from Oil to Radiator fluid and love it! It is very easy to empty into other containers when you are done.

Works great to pour used oil into containers. In spite of the large capacity, it still fits under my sports cars.

Large volume, extra wide mouth to help catch messy fluid changes, and stout build. The only thing I dont like is the drain spout on this. Its angled downward when its sitting flat, so when youre tipping it to pour, the spout is pointed at an awkward angle. Even so, this is an excellent drain pan and I would highly recommend.

This is a great product!! Bought it since the flimsy drain pan I had made a mess everywhere every time I did my oil change. This is quality! Nice and sturdy with no mess or leaks . Bought the green colored one since it’s cheaper but it’s the same thing as the black one.
