    Its definitely more than a crayon. Ive had time to use it only briefly so far. Used it on my daughters leg to try it for body art. Seems to work fine. Needed her leg to be wet. Will try with a paint brush next.

    they work well on watercolor cards, smudge beautifully with a wet finger giving a terrific variety of washes and waxy intensities. Integrate well in mixed media pieces especially with markers and ink.

    Found these to be very good at being painted with water to create different effects. I prefer oil based pastels but cant get them to do the same with water. They work well on their own as well.

    I was really disappointed with these. They are more expensive than similar crayon-type art supplies. They leave stroke marks on watercolor paper and break easily. I will keep them, but will not buy again.
