Beast tack cleaner I’ve ever used!! Smells wonderful and gets my tack super nice and clean. I definitely recommend it!

My daughter only uses Belvoir to condition her Butet saddle and boots. It is absolutely the most perfect tack conditioner. The local tack shop was out-of-stock so Amazon came through with Belvoir that arrived within days!

Just tried this yesterday on a dusty leather purse. Basically, just wipe it on, wait ten minutes and buff. So easy, and fast. My purse looked like New, wasn’t greasy or sticky. I’m going to do my shoes next. Considering all I paid for my leather goods, this is great protection.

I did a test sample and the smell was very very disgustingly sweet so I never used this product. I dont know how the leather actually responds.

There are other products out there that do as good a job as leather balsam, typically balsam-based products with a stabilizer such as beeswax to further help with waterproofing... but this product works great for quick wipedowns after cleaning your leather goods when you dont have the time or energy to really get in there and work the product in. A quick scrub and wipe with saddle or glycerin soap, followed by a generous application and wipedown with this product, will keep most leather in great condition. It does contribute to darkening over time, so using this on some lighter colored leathers (that you want to keep that way) is not advisable. I use this for two items I own, an oil-tanned cowhide messenger bag and some soft greasy brown Doc Martens boots that Ive had for over 20 years.

Ive been out of the saddle for close to 18 months - a combination of surgeries (shoulder repair, melanoma and heart) but I went back to riding about 4 weeks ago and could not believe how bad I was! No rhythm, no feel for it at all. Then my trainer got in my saddle to show me something and yelped ab out how slick the leather was! She couldnt sit the horse right. Carr & Day & Martin and JPC Equestrian saved the day! I ordered it, treated the saddle and I had a fantastic lesson on Buzz. I had been so focused on just staying in the saddle that I couldnt find any rhythm and wasnt having much fun. This product made my saddle ridable, again. This is the best leather balm for saddles! Ive been using it after every ride to help break in my new saddle. It also keeps it looking really nice. It does darken the color a bit (Im an artist so I notice these types of things more than others), but its not dramatic and I really like the look. The smell is also wonderful. Not overly oily, and soaks in really well. Highly recommended!
