Braided bank line has now found a place in my ruck sack. Both braided and twisted bank line have their place, with braided bank line, if you needed something extra strong in bank line this would be the one to use. Not heavy with tar but it does smell like it but isnt tacky like some other tarred bank line. Ill be buying more for sure!

This braided tarred cord is great for bushcraft, everyday usage, and for special projects. It is strong and evenly coated. It does not fray once you burn the ends after cutting the amount you need to use. I used it to tie down some newly planted trees and when I was trimming with the weed eater I hit the cord and it did not break the line. I was impressed with its durability. I would recommend that you have some in your home, vehicle, and bag for all occasions.

I like the thorough tar coating on the braided nylon twine. It is much more impervious to moisture/water and may be more protected from UV radiation deterioration effects from the sunlight. This is a great utilitarian product, with multiple uses.
