> 3 dayI normally dont write reviews, but will give it a try this time. I was not very sure about the product initially, given that it is not from brand name maker. I read a few negative reviews (1 or 2 stars) but nothing really raise a big red flag. So I decided to give it a try. It turns out to be something of good quality. It feels very solid. I tried both HDMI and USB-C ports with my two DELL laptops. One of them is a mobile workstation. There were no issues. Depending on the type of the laptop though, you might need to connect the power cable in addition to the data cable so as to provide sufficient power to the monitor. Even if the power cable is connected to another port on of the same laptop, it still helps. Note that this is consistent with their product manual. Imagining a 15.6 in cell phone, you know how much power that thing would draw from the battery. Image quality and color are comparable to the OEM laptop screen. Overall impression is very good. Service is great too. The support mail box is very responsive. As my Surface Pro only has a mini DP port, I needed an adaptor to use this monitor with it. The adaptor arrived the third day after my initial contact via email. Again, no issues. Best thing, the support provided the adaptor for free, including free shipping. I hope the monitor will continue to perform as it has been doing in the coming years - its backed by a 2-year warranty.

> 3 dayThe monitor is user friendly. I use it with my MacBook Pro and it’s great as an additional monitor when I need to view a number of things at once. The colors are vibrant in terms of the picture. With the sleek design and foldable case it’s easy to setup anywhere. It’s light weight which is great for travel

> 3 dayI bought this monitor to hookup to play with my Nintendo Switch and was amazed by the picture quality and sound that this device produced. It can also be easily hooked up to work as a second monitor if needed for a work from home setup if you are limited on space. The screen size is the perfect size to be side by side with your laptop screen. It is small and compact and can be easily packed up if you are on the move as well. The monitor also comes with all the necessary cables with instructions on which cable to use for your setup to get you up and running right out the box. Dont think twice if you are in the market for an external portable monitor. The value and quality of this device will definitely exceed your expectations.

> 3 dayI have 3 monitors in my home office so working with just a laptop when traveling does not work well. This is a great addition when traveling and even gives me an additional monitor at home. Worth every penny!!!

> 3 dayI purchased this portable monitor to use with my Lenovo ThinkPad for work while traveling. Having 2 screens is essential to my job functions. I was debating between an extendable monitor that attached right to my laptop but I decided to purchase this option after reading reviews that it is hard on the hinge. I am very pleased with it being plug and play (I use the thunder cord USB-C to USB-C) so I dont need a separate power cord. I do want to caution it will drain the power from the laptop so make sure it is fully charged if you are using this option. The kickstand is very adjustable for different angles and there is a brightness toggle one the side of it. The picture is crisp and bright and I am very happy with the monitor, wish I would have ordered one sooner.

Greater than one weekI have used lots of travel monitors and this one is good. It is lightweight, doesnt need to be plugged in (to anything other than your laptop), and the screen is clear. I havent had it that long, so not sure how long it will last (thats usually the issue with travel monitors), but so far, so good. I think the price point is really good too. I bought one for waaaayyy more last time, that was supposed to be amazing and it was just heavy and bulky and still broke a year after I bought it, so might as well buy the cheaper one.

> 3 dayI received my Cocopar monitor and immediately plugged in to my iPad Pro to try it out. Made a few adjustments, such as, brightness, color and set HDR to auto and it worked great with the USB-C cable provided. The iPad provided the necessary power to power both the iPad and monitor. Make sure you are using the magic keyboard with a secondary charging port or a USB-C hub for prolonged use as the monitor will drain the iPad fairly quickly. Evening using Shiftscreen software to use this monitor as an extended monitor for my iPad Pro worked good. The response time was good and the monitor worked great throwing some ultra 4k HDR video to the screen, but I was using the HDMI cable and powering the monitor separately and not through the iPad.. I didnt notice any dropped frames. Plugging this into my MacBook Pro worked great with no complaints for a portable second monitor and was pretty much plug and play as an extended monitor. Even on my work laptop, a windows machine, with a little click here and there in the settings it was up and running quickly. The monitor is a solid metal build and the bottom flips out instead of a screen cover providing the stand and there is a rubberized strip on the monitor to keep it from slipping. Multiple viewing angles are possible and had no fear of it falling over or slipping out of place. It is light and easy to put in my laptop sleeve to carry with me. There is no screen protection so you have to be a little careful when putting in the same bag as your laptop, but included in the box was a protective case which is padded and includes a zippered pocket for cables and other accessories. I would use the case, although it does add some extra bulk to the portability. Some have mentioned they are unable to get High Dynamic Range (HDR) output, but it will not output HDR unless there is HDR content to show. I know that when looking, for example, at the setting on an iPad Pro, it only shows SDR output, but it will automatically chanage then viewing HDR content. This is a good portable monitor. Dont expect this to compete with $1500 or $5000 monitors, it wont. However, for the times you need to bring along a second screen to be more productive this is a good one to purchase. Its well built, has a base to support multiple viewing angles and multiple ports.
