If youre like me and still have a VGA backup monitor in your closet for just in case, this monitor is the upgrade backup youre looking for. Ive tested it with my Nintendo Switch, and can run both off of my power bank. You have to detach the joycons or use a pro controller, because the joycons will keep toggling the charge if theyre attached. I tested it by going straight USB-C from the 2080 in my desktop - it worked immediately as a second monitor and took power straight from the GPU, no extra cords required. My final test was on my laptop - I plugged it into the USB-C port and it immediately gave me a mirrored desktop. Toggle the windows display settings to Extend, and youve got a fully functional second monitor. Theres a two year warranty on this thing, so I feel pretty comfortable tossing out the old VGA backup monitor (and all of the related cables from that era) and moving forward with this as a backup.

Finally I have found exactly what I needed, a light and practical monitor that I can add to my laptop bag for work travel and set up in seconds when I reach my hotel. I won’t travel without it. The image quality is pristine and the set up is done within seconds. The monitor stands on its own with stable foot and the screen is large enough to work on excel spreadsheets. This portable monitor is the best thing! I have monitors set up in my home office but never had anything when I travel. This solves that problem! It is user-friendly right out of the box. Literally the easiest technology item I might own! Highly recommend it!

I really like this monitor! Its a great match for my 16-inch Macbook Pro, and its affordable, too. The screen looks good with 1920 x 1080 resolution and the text is easy to read. The monitor feels solid and well-made, which is nice. Its a good size for using at a dining table or on the couch, and its great if you need a second screen for work. It was easy to set up and use. Overall, I think its a really good buy!

Ive got a Dell 13 laptop that I work from home with... Well at my age, thats a mighty small laptop screen - and I have to have multiple programs open including screen sharing - (I work in IT). So I sit inside slaved to a big monitor. I want to work sometimes outside, its spring you know... I need another monitor, bigger than 13 if possible, that I can take outside. This is the size of a very thin 15 laptop and a fraction of the weight. I sit at my patio table, under my umbrella, with the laptop plugged into AC. I connect a USB-C cable from the laptop to this monitor- for both power and video- And just a USB hub into the one USB-3 plug on the computer for my mouse/headset and I am ready to work. Cake. I got my ice-tea and I can work. As for the quality, if feels really good. The cover becomes a stand, and it has VESA mount holes on the back that are easy to get to because the cover is magnetic, in case you really want to mount it somewhere. Image is sharp and colorful, I have no trouble running my screen sharing in it and Zoom meetings. Having dual monitors outside on a wonderful spring day is a great way to manage stress at work.

This has made working on assignments so much easier!

I’ve tried a few different monitors and this one is the best one. It’s priced well and the quality is outstanding. My wife uses it to work from home and it’s made her job easier.

My daughter had a Cocopar traveling monitor so I had to buy my own. I purchased the upgraded model and I couldn’t be happier with the resolution quality, screen brightness and the ease of set-up. The stand feels stable and the protective sleeve provides protection during transport. One word of caution is always use a quality rated USB-c cable. I tried a cable I already owned, but the cord wouldn’t transfer the data and power so the monitor wouldn’t work. Once I switched to the cocopar provided cable. It worked great again. I would highly recommend the Cocopar Travel Monitor for streaming or general use.

Easy to set up, nice matte screen, very sharp picture.

I was a bit hesitant and skeptical about how well this thing would work when I first purchased it, but so far it has exceeded my expectations! I purchased it in lieu of a second monitor for my laptop because 1) I wanted something I could take with me to use outside of my apartment, and 2) my boyfriend didnt want a permanent standing monitor at our desk because our desk is tiny. So I opted to get a portable, foldable one instead, and I am SO happy with my choice! I fits in my backpack or any work-like bag, and it works well so far with my Macbook Air laptop. The screen/picture quality is good, not great, but that doesnt bother me at all since I just needed a second screen to get my law school work done on more than just my laptop screen. I love it and would recommend as a 2nd screen/monitor!
