> 3 daySoft leather , very lightweight, super comfortable, well cushioned. They look a little wide across the middle of the foot, then come to a more pointed tip with less width for toes and a narrow look at the tip. This, and the thin metal edge at the tip, make the shoes look dressy and stylish. I bought my regular size and the fit was snug but comfortable, as expected with new Cole Haan shoes. No breaking in slowly needed. My feet remained ready to walk even after several hours. I like the smooth leather, its easier to take care of then the nubuck leather cole haan likes to use with their shoes. I plan to use water proofing spray on them and think they should then hold up well to some Spring/Summer rain. Love them.
