> 3 dayI got to the point that I really needed to step up from a backpack at work to a briefcase, and looked long and hard for a bag that would be a happy median between the two. I think that this is that bag. Not a backpack, but not a Tumi.

> 3 dayGreat bag! The website indicated that the large would hold my bag. It does only in the main compartment, not in the TSA approved section. This was very disappointing. I was going to return it but I was so amazed at how much it can hold. It expands but does not LOOK like an expanding bag from the outside. Every pocket is so well designed and thought out.

10-06-2025I got the bag in a medium and the quality is first rate. Some of the design features just dont make sense however. The main flap has the soft part of a Velcro strip but there is no corresponding Velcro for it to attach to. There a few narrow and deep pockets that I can barely get my hand into. There is a Velcro strap under the main flap that seems to have no purpose at all. There is a thin strap on the front that serves no purpose. The bottle holders on the sides arent deep enough. I could go one. Nonetheless, I give it four stars because of the quality, the main compartment is just the right size and there are several very useful pockets. Im just saying that a few simple changes could make this bag much better.

> 3 dayI like this bag. I bought the small size; it was between that and the extra small. This size is essentially the size of a small briefcase and carries comfortably in the hand or on the shoulder. It is intelligently designed, and has extensive, varied storage that keeps all items separate and safe. It can expand or contract substantially. The zippers, clips, straps and other hardware all seem heavy duty and work well. I like the way the shoulder strap easily flips to inside out when you put it on. The shoulder strap is comfortable. I guess if youre a complete pack rat and like to carry thirty pounds of stuff with you to work, then you should look at a bigger size. This can easily hold a laptop, tablet phone, lunch box, books, glasses, water bottle, etc. at the same time without straining and the shoulder strap distributes the weight comfortably, which of course is the point of the messenger bag style. I bought the all black one, which isnt beautiful, but it was my choice! Plus there are numerous color schemes so it should please everyone. I think the pricing is in the sweet spot between cheesy (no names) and ridiculous (tumi, anyone?). I subtracted a star because it only has an exterior pouch (for glasses, water, etc.) on one side, not both, which annoys me because I wear reading glasses and switch to sunglasses and one has to go inside the bag.

> 3 dayWorks well as my daily briefcase, holds all the stuff I need to haul to work. Also works well as a travel bag for quick weekend trips, especially if travelling light.
