Commute Messenger Bag

Ive been using this bag now for a few months as a resident at a hospital. It carries all my papers, references, food, and coffee. It will carry my white coat too. The small size was perfect for me to carry everything I need for a long day and comfortably travels. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering a commuters bag.

Meant to return it but missed the return date by 1 day. Took effort to squeeze my bare back 15 Macbook pro in the pocket and zip it up. Doesnt stay on my shoulder well enough when Im moving around at work so I had a habit of taking it off and setting it down instead which leads to theft issues. Switched back to a back pack that stays on my back.

I have had several Timbuk2 bags over the last few years and all I can say is that they are great. I have had products fail from them and the difference between a mediocre company and a great company is when they stand behind their product and this company has always done so because of that they have earned my loyalty.

Great bag. Strap isnt very comfortable and has some function issues.

This is the best bag I have ever bought in my life. I need two more. I switch out the stuff, its perfect for travel, and field work. A little big for personal bag, but hey....sometimes I need my stuff with me. Great bag if you are busy with many projects at once. Has helped my organization process loads.

Just received the Timbuk2 Commute size large and was greatly disappointed. After considerable research and review reading, I bought it as a birthday gift for my son to carry his 17 Acer laptop and it just wasnt up to par.

Recieved the Timbuk 2 Commute, small, from my friends at Amazon. Just right for work travel. Ordered a medium command but it was too big for my taste. Returned and ordered the small commute. Fits my 13 inch laptop, ipad and lots of storage compartments are really nice. Well made and quality material. Clasps look like they could be a little bigger and stronger but should be fine.

I bought a Black Medium size bag about a few weeks ago from Amazon and took it to my business trip twice (domestic and intl) already. At first I thought that it was a mistake to purchase another laptop bag, but I was wrong. I could see that Timbuk2 listened to customers feedback well as there were many small features that I really enjoyed. The only part that I wished to have was a side pocket to hold water bottle was a bit tight that could have been little wider. But on back pocket I was able to pack my 15 laptop and a kindle easily and was able to just open the zipper when I went through security check point at the airport. I would recommend this bag to other business travelers at anytime.

Great organization and size. I almost always use the rear tablet pocket and occasionally use the rear computer pocket with a 13” MacBook Air or Lenovo ThinkPad T440s. The main compartment has a lot of room and the many extra pockets let me store all my stuff without loading up the main compartment.
